Taric Matchups Overview

Taric General information

Taric tips and tricks

Good times to use your DazzleE are when the enemy has used a dash ability or have pinned themselves near a wall. This will make it harder for the enemy to dodge your Stun DazzleE without burning Flash.

Do not hold on to your Ultimate Cosmic RadianceR until it’s too late. It’s better for you to use it early and it to protect you rather than dying mid-channel.

Keep a constant eye on your mana pool throughout the laning phase and in team fights. Your abilities, in particular your Starlight's TouchQ, costs a lot of mana and you’ll not be able to keep your ADC or team topped up with health if you run low.

The Best Taric Builds, Runes and Items for Support in Emerald +

Most Popular

If you want to use the most popular Taric Support build, you should take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick Glacial Augment as your keystone, followed by Magical Footwear, Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight in the primary tree, as well as Conditioning and Revitalize in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Attack Speed in offense, Health Scaling in flex and Health Scaling in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Dream Maker as your first item, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Locket of the Iron Solari. For your last 3 items, you should build Winter's Approach, Knight's Vow and finish with Vigilant Wardstone. For the skill order, you want to stick with E - Q - W. Right now, this build has 57.9% winrate over 653 matches played.

Optional

Your second option for Taric Support build would be to take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. The runes that this build takes advantage of are Glacial Augment as your keystone, Magical Footwear, Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight in the primary tree, and Conditioning with Revitalize in the secondary tree. The shards used in this build are Attack Speed in offense, Health Scaling in flex and Health Scaling in defense. The items for the build are Celestial Opposition, which you should build first, followed by Plated Steelcaps as your second item and Locket of the Iron Solari as your third item.
