Orianna Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

Orianna’s Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR can be game-changing and she can use it on up to 5 enemy champions. If she gets one good Ultimate off, it could turn the tide of the game.

Has lots of utility. Her Command: AttackQ can be a zoning tool, her Command: ProtectE is a shield and her Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR is CC. Not to mention her Command: DissonanceW is a speed up too!

She has good wave clear and a good auto attack animation. You should be able to pick up a lot of CS when playing Orianna.

Weaknesses

Orianna is a very mechanically difficult champion to master. It will take a lot of practice to play her to her full potential. Don’t get us wrong though, she is easy to pick up.

Orianna is quite immobile in the early parts of the game. If she is pushing, she can be susceptible to ganks from the enemy Jungler. Make sure that when you’re pushing, you reposition or have vision around your lane.

Quite vulnerable to all-in and hard engage in team fights. If she gets caught out of position, she is going to die instantly.

Early game
0 - 15 min
Orianna is Average

Your goal throughout the laning phase is to poke and harass the enemy in lane. You have a lot of poke, so try to poke the enemy down as often as you can.

Play safe for the first few levels while you land poke on the enemy with your Command: AttackQ. Once they’re low enough, you can commit to an all-in.

Once you’ve hit level 6 and purchased key component items, look to harass and constantly push the enemy into their tower. This will allow you to earn turret plating and increase your gold income.

Mid game
15 - 25 min
Orianna is Average

After your bot lane has moved to the mid lane, rotate to the bot side of the map or somewhere else on the map so you can continue to farm and gain XP.

Try and siege objectives with your team during the mid-game. You have strong poking tools which will allow you to siege objectives with ease. Try to poke the enemy down as much as possible while your team tries to take towers (or the Dragon or Baron).

Delay team fights for as long as possible while you harass the enemy and poke them down with your Command: AttackQ and Command: DissonanceW.

Late game
25+ min
Orianna is Strong

Do not team fight in the later parts of the game unless your Zhonya’s Hourglass and Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR are both up. Delay/ disengage fights if the enemy wants to fight you.

Stay with your team in the late parts of the game. If you get caught out or the enemy initiates a fight while you’re not there, the enemy will win the team fight.

Poke and delay team fights while you and your team harass the enemy and get them low. Once they’re low, engage. You can also look for picks with your abilities to catch someone who is out of position.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

The first item component will allow her to deal more damage and spam her abilities due to the increased mana.

Level six is a massive spike due to her getting her hands on her Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR. This will let her make plays of her own or in combination with her team.

She isn't really great pre-six as she can easily be caught out and killed. Post-six is a different story, and the Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR can ultimately tip the balance of a fight.

Mid game15 - 25 min

Another point in her Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR will increase the damage of the ability and let her make plays frequently.

Multiple items will allow her to take over the game easily. She should be a part of as many fights as possible.

The first ability will be maxed out at level 9. This will deal a lot of damage to the enemy team and increase the frequency of using that ability.

Late game25+ min

A maxed-out Ultimate Command: ShockwaveR will let Orianna one-shot enemies if she manages to land an entire combo on them. Clumped fights will be the way to go during this phase.

Most of her abilities will be maxed out during this phase of the game. She can both poke enemies down and protect allies with her Command: ProtectE.

Her team fighting is excellent, and she can run down enemies with ease. All she needs to do is keep on poking enemies and landing multi-man Ultimate Command: ShockwaveRs.
