Silver Palace Gacha System Overview

Updated on Jul 24, 2026
Jul 24, 2026

Gacha Intro

The Gacha system is the main method to acquire characters and build teams in Silver Palace (and any Gacha game). It’s also where the game becomes free-to-play friendly or encourages heavy spending to be competitive.

On the surface, the system is familiar to anyone who has played other Gacha games. There are four banners with four different pulling tickets, Gacha currency, premium currency, and pity system. But the difference lies in the details of how each part of the Gacha system moves relative to others.

How Pity works in Silver Palace

The four banners in Silver Palace have different pity systems, as of second Beta (starting 23th July, 2026), the system goes as follows:

Limited-time Character Banner

  • Five-star characters have a 0.8% chance to be revealed.
  • A revealed five-star character can be the limited character or a standard character (with no 50:50).
  • With three standard characters and one limited, the chance for revealed five-star character to be the limited one is 25%
  • Limited character is guaranteed after 100 pulls, regardless of how many standard five-stars you get on the way to pity.
  • The pity resets upon getting the limited character.
  • The pity carries over and doesn't reset from banner to banner.

In short, this Gacha system is similar to Arknight Endfield, with lower count to guarantee the limited character, and with pity carrying over to the next banners without resetting.

Limited-time Weapon Banner (Motives)

  • Five-star Motives have 0.8% a chance to be revealed.
  • After 80 pulls, you are guaranteed to reveal a five-star Motive.
  • A revealed five-star Motive has a 50% chance to be the limited Motive.
  • There's no guarantee for the limited Motive.
  • The pity resets upon getting a five-star Motive.
  • The pity carries over and doesn't reset from banner to banner.

The weapon banner is built on (50:50) and more akin to the Genshin Impact system, rather than Arknights or NTE.

Standard Banner (Characters & Motives)

  • Five-star characters and Motives have 0.8% chance to be revealed.
  • After 80 pulls, you are guaranteed to reveal a five-star (Character or Motives, relative to the banner).
  • The banners are permanent.

Duplicates, bonuses, and the Shop

Upon getting characters and Motives (for the first time or duplicates) of 4 star rarity or higher, player gets Mind Shards and Mind Grains. These are two currencies used to buy more pulls, progression resources, or four-star Motives.

How Many Mind Shards/Grains Player can get

Reward

Revelation

20 Mind Shards

5-star character for the first 7 times

50 Mind Shards

5-star character after the 7th time.

4 Mind Shards

4-star character for the first 7 times

10 Mind Shards

4-star character after the 7th time.

20 Mind Shards

5-star Motive

4 Mind Shards

4-star Motive

8 Mind Grains

3-star Motive

So on average, in the way to 100 Pity, player can get:

  • 20 Mind Shards from five-star character
  • 4*13 = 52 Mind Shards from 4-star characters (assuming no character gets over T6)
    • Alliteratively, you may get 10*13 = 130 Mind Shards for 13 duplicates of characters over T6
  • 86*8 = 688 Mind Grains

What you can buy with Mind Shards

  • For 12 Mind Shards, you can get 1 extra pull of your choice. Effectively refunding (6-12 pulls every 100 pity. This number goes up if you get an early 5-star)
  • For 90 Mind Shards, you can get a four-star Motive.

What you can buy with Mind Grains

  • For 50 Mind Grains, you can get 1 extra pull of your choice (Max 5 of each four types per month)
  • You can get level-up materials, skill materials, and ascension materials for various prices.

Important Notes

These are couple extra things we noted from trying out the Gacha system in Silver Palace in first day.

Motives Scarcity

Weapon (Motives) Banner tickets are rare, which means player have to spend the Gacha currency (Reactor Crystal) on weapons, if they want to get signature Motive of characters, or get more of the rate-up four-star Motives. With 50% chance to get the limited Motive.

This with the fact that you can't get four-star motives from characters banners means Motives are the choke point. Players have to plan very carefully how to spend their currency and split it between weapons and characters.

Of course this is still Beta, and the Devs might change according to feedback in third Beta and final version at release.

Gacha Currency to Pull Tickets Ratio

This is another note, in terms of Gacha currency pull costs:

  • 360 Reactor Crystals for 1x Pull
  • 3600 Reactor Crystals for 10x pulls
  • 36,000 Reactor Crystals for 100x Pulls (Guaranteed Limited character)
  • 21,600 Reactor Crystals for 80x Pulls (Five-star Motive)

The numbers looks huge, but they are better than the 60,000 required for a guarantee limited character in Arknight Endfield. The true pulls economy though can't be observed before the game releases, so we can't make judgment here. But we will keep an eye out, and keep our audience informed!
