Mistfall Hunter Roadmap, Launch Rewards, and Twitch Drops

Mistfall Hunter was officially released on July 30th, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC. It has seen great success, selling over 1,000,000 copies across all platforms. The game has gained traction thanks to its unique gameplay, featuring PvPvE extraction matches with deep character progression and customization.

In this article, you'll learn everything currently known about the game's next updates and upcoming content, as well as active Twitch Drops and Launch Reward campaigns.

Throughout the game's Early Access period, the developers have released several Dev Notes and Announcements, clearly stating that their goal is to deliver content in a live-service manner, so that Mistfall Hunter players have a reason to come back to the game.

Shortly after the game's release, Bellring Games officially announced several waves of Launch Rewards alongside a Roadmap showing upcoming content.

There will be a Twitch Drops campaign running from August 5 to August 12, 2026.

To participate, you'll need to link your Twitch and Mistfall Hunter accounts. Head to the official Mistfall Hunter Twitch Drop website and link your platform account with your Twitch Account.

Then, watch Mistfall Hunter streams on Twitch that have Drops Enabled, and you'll receive the following rewards:

• 30 minutes: Hunter Supply Chest (5x Healing Elixir, 200x Gyldenblod)
• 1 hour: Avatar: Goddess of Fate (In-game Profile Picture)
• 4 hours: Celestial Mistveil Lucky Chest (Chance to receive Outfits, Materials, or Gyldenblod)

Watching a partner stream earns the following additional rewards:

• 1 hour: Excellent Weapon Selection Chest
• 2 hours: Material Lucky Chest

Ahead of the game's first major update on August 6, 2026, the developers have shared a full Roadmap showing the content that will be coming to the game in Season 1 and Season 2:

• August 6, 2026: Einherjar Mist Lords are unlocked, rewarding better materials. Stability and balance updates are included as well.
• August 14, 2026: Soul Harvest seasonal event.
• September 2026: Season 1 - Phase II. Includes Brandrgarde Solo Mode, more Story Quests, and the Underlord Speed Challenge.
• October 2026 or later: Season 1 - Phase III. Brings to the game the Golden Woodling and the Ancestor Tree Match Event.

The Roadmap also teases upcoming content coming in Season 2, which does not have a release date yet:

• Javelin Weapon Type for the Blackarrow, possibly adding new Talents and Skills as well
• New Gameplay features
• Seasonal-Themed Battle Pass
• Expanded Story Quests

Although that is all that has been officially revealed, a highly requested feature by players is Duo Mode. The game lacks a true Duo Mode right now, with the only similar option being queuing as a Duo in Trio Mode, which puts players at a disadvantage.

Players can also expect regular performance optimizations and balance updates, as well.
