Use your favourite features in-game with our Desktop AppBranco, the Bloodstained Shield can be defeated relatively easily by making sure you time your attacks well, make good use of your Fire Magic, watching your health and healing when you need too, and taking advantage of his vulnerability to burning in the nearby flames.
This guide will breakdown the best way to take Branco out nice and easily.
Located at the north of the map, this is the first boss you will come across, you can't miss him.
As soon as the fight begins, lock onto Branco and use your Fire Magic on him. After using the fire magic, immediately be ready to dodge his attacks.
Pay attention to the red symbol that appears above Branco during the fight, when you see this symbol, get out of the way quickly to avoid being one shotted.
Continue dodging his attacks while looking for opportunities to land hits of your own.
When Branco attacks while you are close to him, try dodging towards him rather than away from him, doing this will allow you to avoid his attack while keeping yourself close enough to immediately counterattack him. After successfully dodging, take the opportunity to land as many hits as you can without getting greedy.
Be careful of the fire on the ground during the fight. Make sure you don't spend too much time in the flames, as this will add to the burn gauge for your character.
However, if Branco spends enough time standing in the flames, he can also become burned and catch fire which will begin taking from his health over time, so try to lure him into the flames whenever possible whilst avoiding getting burned yourself.
Keep an eye on the bottom-left corner of the screen. Your Fire Magic is represented by a yellow indicator just next to the fire icon, which lets you know when it is available to use again, and as soon as the ability is ready, find the right time to use it on Branco again.
Continue attacking while taking advantage of the burn from the flames on the ground, maintain pressure while avoiding or dodging into his attacks, the burn damage can help to finish Branco off along with your magic and weapon hits.
