Stardust Sorcerer Trios Build (Meme Beam) - Mistfall Hunters

Sorcerer has the potential to be a high-damage class in Mistfall Hunter. This build utilises a team-wiping combo of the stardust archetype by rapidly casting Stardust Tempest and Gravitational Vortex right after each other, finishing off with (meme beam) Stardust Torrent

This build leans more towards 3v3 and 1v3 gameplay for the currently hardest but most rewarding map, being extremely effective at killing mistlords quickly with Stardust Torrent

Sorcerer has a special way of selecting skills that you want to use compared to other classes. Modifier keys such as Q and E are used in addition to pressing right (Stardust/elemental) or left click (default). This gives a total of 6 different skills that can be used at any moment, without swapping a weapon. A third key must also be pressed, by default Alt (with Stardust Arcana talent) to also skip the chanting required for that spell

Stardust Skills

• Stardust Torrent is our main damage dealer. Instead of using a basic spell without a cooldown (such asMeteor Charm), stand still and channel a beam that gets more powerful over time. This is the highest damage skill in the game, doing upwards of 70 damage headshots every 0.5 seconds. Slow, but easy to aim hitscan ability. Make sure to angle the beam, not the reticle, when aiming
• Stardust Tempest has high damage potential if the enemy stays within, and slows both movement and dodge distance (with Storm Impact)
• Gravitational Vortex sucks in (and stuns if multiple enemies affected) anything within it's area. Allowing for both Stardust Tempest and Stardust Torrent to disintegrate anything caught within

General Skills

• Forbidden Gate blocks any entity from moving past it, and projectiles too. Can even fully block small hallways, but will break after taking several hits
• Phantom Step is a buff that gives a 30% movement speed boost, removes the sound of footsteps, and grants slow fall that negates any fall damage
• Shadow Veil is a temporary buff that grants true invisibilty. A special audio queue will play to any enemy players that you approach, slightly indicating how close you are to them, but not exact location. Any interactions, damage or skill casts will break the invisibility

The talents are picked to maximise the movement and effectiveness of each skill

• Chant Guard similar to 5/7 Eloquence prevents one hit from staggering an interrupting the stardust spell you are chanting
• Stardust Arcana gives the ability to skip the chanting of any spell. Requires holding in the alt (by default) and has a cooldown once used
• Unending Torrent gives Stardust Torrent a total of three stages, each after the first significantly increas it's damage
• Storm Impact

• Unobstructed Passage
• Divine Speed is a 20% movement speed buff, and combines with Phantom Step for a total of 50% movement speed
• Vitality Chant beware of the cooldown, it's simialr to Stardust Arcana
• Flexible Casting

Affixes can be a matter of preference, but here are the ones I pick in priority order and why:

• Seamless 5 - 15.25% cooldown reduction, 30% cooldown refund when you knockdown an enemy player
• • All our skills are cooldowns, even the main attack Stardust Torrent. Also allows for better Phantom Step uptime since its cooldown starts the moment the skill is used
  • Allows for constant pressure after downing an opponent, making a 1v3 possible if you pick someone off
• Blessing 5 - 25% buff duration
• • This applies to both Phantom Step and Shadow Veil, and gives Phantom Step a near-permanent uptime (~2 second downtime)
• Valor 5 - Attack +7.5%. Defense Penetration +1.8%
• • Generic damage increase that is a separate damage "bucket" to anything else, without any conditions
• Fervid 5 - Physical damage +9%, Magical damage +9%. Skill energy cost reduction +6% while above 70% health
• • Damage bonus that has a condition that is relatively easily kept active and doesn't require a extra button or change in gameplay. Just make sure top up health all the time!
• Eloquence 5 - 15% chanting speed, chanting cannot be interrupted by minor impacts (10s cd)
• • Important part is the interrupt protection, which is very good for using spells while running or in combat
  • Chanting speed isn't as important as Stardust Torrent has a short chant, but much longer channel, which isn't affected. While Gravitational Vortex chant is skipped andPhantom Step/Shadow Veil are usually cast outside combat and infrequently
• Elusive 4 - (Filler) Dodge energy cost reduction 16%
• • Recover dodge charges faster, allowing for easier escape and running away when focused
  • Can be replaced with something else, like Swift

• Open the Prepare tab in the character screen when in base.
• Select Manage/Import at the bottom left

Team Wiping Combo

• Manually chant Stardust Tempest, aiming/predicting enemy movement. Use dash once to cover distance if needed (Vitality Chant)
• Hold “alt” (instant cast Stardust Arcana key) and cast Gravitational Vortex immediately
• Start chanting and channeling Stardust Torrent

Speed and Invis Buff

• Phantom Step only has a ~2 second downtime with 5/5 Blessing and Seamless. So use it whenever it's off cooldown or when you are approaching enemies
• Shadow Veil to scout and initiate, ideally positioning yourself behind the enemy team waiting for them to group up for your combo
• Both combined provide a 50% movement speed boost

Escaping

• When attacked, use shift to dodge through and behind the enemy, rather than directly backwards/away
• Forbidden Gate directly behind you to block enemies, ideally in a tight corridor
• Keep up the pressure by chanting Stardust Torrent behind the gate
• Or run away to wait for your cooldowns, buffing yourself with Phantom Step and Shadow Veil if you can
