How to Unlock and Capture Minespine - Aniimo

Aniimo is a free-to-play, open-world RPG where players can explore the vast world of Idyll, meet unique Aniimos, unlock new abilities, and travel across the world while meeting other Pathfinders and their friends! 

Minespine is an Alpha fight you can find out in the Beast Fang Ridge. Despite most Alphas typically being rather easy to find, this is a tricky one. It's tucked away deep in a cave that you won't find marked on your map as easy as the others. In this article, we'll explain out to get to it, and how to capture.

To get started, head over to the lleft-most bloom teleport marked below on the map of Beast Fang Ridge. The left side of the image shows the entrance to the cave needed to access Minespine

Once you arrive, you should see the opening pictured below blocked with a formation of ice. To melt it, swap to a Fire type Aniimo (or use any Fire skill) on the blockage. The ice will melt, and you can go inside. At the end of the cave, you'll find Geoclaw waiting to be fought.

Once you reach the cave opening, take note of the barrels on your left side. You can either push them yourself, or use a skill from Grizbo to push them towards the blocked off opening in front of you. When you get them to the opening, blow them up to reveal the path forward. You'll then need to swap to an Aniimo that has an ability with Tunnel in order to get under the tight opening.

Once you proceed through the cave, you will find Minespine. Defeating it will give you a variety of random rewards, and a chance to capture.
