Blood Harvest Guide (6 Tips to Improve Your Efficiency)

In Diablo 4’s Season 2, the Blood Harvest is a new overworld event that is incredibly useful for farming items as well as for materials for summoning Uber Bosses.

To get the maximum amount of value out of the Blood Harvest, we’ve compiled 6 tips you should keep in mind.

Whenever a Blood Harvest starts, it will always have multiple Tree of Whisper events with it. This is the best time to farm the Blood Harvest, as you can farm both the Tree of Whispers and the Blood Harvest at the same time.

The Tree of Whispers will give you loads of loot, gold, XP, and materials for summoning Ubers.

This overlap between the Tree of Whispers and Blood Harvest is an incredible method of farming, and you should definitely try to farm Blood Harvest whenever Tree of Whispers comes up.

An important tip to note when using the above strategy is that Blood Harvest respawns at the top of every hour. So when you are doing your farming rotations, keep an eye on the clock and try to hit.

Blood Lures are an important material you will acquire when farming the Blood Harvest. If you go to the marker on the map as shown below, you will find 3 altars.

These altars can be activated for 50 Blood Lures, and anyone can activate them, meaning you should save your Blood Lures for when you have 150, or if you have 2 other friends you can each have 50.

Upon activation wave after wave of mobs will spawn, and at the end, 3 bosses will spawn that drop an insane amount of loot. This is actually the best method for farming gear in the entire game.

For farming the most amount of materials for Ubers as possible in Season 2 you should follow this priority list.

1. World Boss
2. Legion Event
3. Blood Harvest With Tree of Whispers
4. Hell Tide
5. Blood Harvest Without Tree of Whispers

Basically, you should always try to do whatever is highest and work your way down.

Unfortunately, the Reputation gear you get isn’t worth it because you get it too slowly for it to matter. The gear you’re getting is always behind the curve.

That being said the Vampiric Powers are worth grabbing, Sanguine Brace and Accursed Touch.

Here’s a look at what you can get:

You are going to get pretty much infinite keys from farming the Blood Harvest, so you should spend them aggressively! Try to open as many chests as you can, as each chest will contain loads of loot and Potent Blood.

Potent Blood is used to upgrade your Vampiric Powers which will substantially increase their power. Keep in mind that your keys are also waved between world tiers. So it can be very useful when you first get into a new world tier to run around opening chests and ignoring mobs until you get a full set of the new tier of items.
