Build Overview

This is an excellent leveling build, utilizing quill volley to deal damage and combining that with unholy amounts of mobility.

You can use this build from level 1-60, and the start of your paragon levels. Then I recommend transitioning into an endgame build. Link below.

For endgame, you either want to go for a pure QV build or a thorns poison build (stronger).

The thorns poison build uses the new unique spiritborn pants, and should be the best build of the season.

Thrash - used to generate ferocity and vigor.
Quill Volley - your main source of damage.
Ravager - used for damage, teleport, and vigor generation.
Scourge - boosts your damage.
The Hunter - grants you a bunch of buffs and damage, see the ultimate skill passives in the skill tree.
Soar - used for mobility.

The Gorilla main hall is used as a defensive option, and Eagle secondary hall is used for a damage bonus early on.

Equipment Priority

For leveling, there are no necessary aspects. If you can find Unyielding Hits Aspect then you've found a jackpot. This will substantially increase your damage, and you can then start focusing on tempering and gathering upp armour for additional damage.

Other than that, temper generic damage multipliers and defensives as you go. You should get Damage To Close Enemies & Damage To Distant Enemies early on, which you can temper and spread out for sustainable high damage while leveling.

How it Plays

Trash until you have max resource
Quill Volley at least 3 times, it resets your cooldowns via your key passive if you use it at least 3 times
Ravager whenever it is off cooldown, it grants you a free dash
Scourge whenever it is off cooldown, it boosts your damage
Soar for mobility or Counterattack for damage, depending on what skill you play with.
The hunter use this either after you've used soar or scourge. This will reset its cooldown. If you need mobility, you use soar first. If you want damage, you use scourge first.

How it Works

This build focuses on the high base damage and fast hits from Quill Volley to make leveling fast, smooth and easy. There are no complex interactions making the build work, rather you grab the skills necessary - and you start dominating.
