**Crit Chance: **
-With 53% Crit Chance, you are at 100% while enemies are standing in Caltrops due to Trick Attacks, Disciplined Caltrops, and Trap Mastery.
Attack Speed
-Aim for 100 % attack speed from gear.
Defence
-To cap resistances you need a GA all resistance roll on one of your rings and masterwork it. Armour should be solved with the new horadric jewels/incenses.
CDR
-You need a 15 second cooldown on your death trap. Preparation resets 5 sec per 75 energy. Calculator: https://shorturl.at/CpVun
Energy
-You need 150 energy if you have a cooldown on death trap < 10s which you should aim for. Otherwise you need 225 energy. To reduce its cooldown we use CDR, core skill ranks, Luminate Eye or the Zec Rune. Calculator: https://shorturl.at/bZ0OP

How it Plays
-Smoke Grenade, Caltrops and Poison Trap are used roughly every 5 seconds to apply damage bonuses.
-Concealment you use every 3 seconds to keep up vulnerable, and you can also use it when you're crowd controlled and need unstoppable.
-Dash is used for mobility.
This means that most of your time playing is simply pressing Death Trap, and this build can easily be turned into a one button build - because that's all you need for 99.9 % of content currently. It's only when you start pushing the pit that you need to press any button that isn't Death Trap, for additional multipliers.
How it Works
Energy: Every 75 energy we spend reduce our cooldowns by 5 seconds. We use this to reset our cooldown of Death Trap by stacking energy on our gear and via our key passive in combination with cooldown reduction and core skill ranks, which our Death Trap utilizes via Scoundrel's Leathers.
Get Energy Back: Is done via Aftermath on your pantaloonies and in the skill tree.
Scoundrel's Leathers: Turns our death trap into a core skill and allows us to use Beastfall Boots to spend energy for our preparation and reset our cooldowns.
Overpowers: Heavily nerfed in season 9, now only grants a 50 % damage increase. Playing without it this season as there are more valuable runes to use such as Qax.
To get the build online quicker, there are a few tricks:
- Resource Elixir for more energy
- Max Resources on your amulet
- Temper More DT Cooldown Reduction
- Helm With Cooldown Reduction & Max Resources
- Luminate Eye horadric jewel. If you don't need it - you swap to Myriad Stone for more damage
- Zen Rune
