11/17/23: I've added Bane to the Paragon points because I swap from ** Ice Imbuement ** to ** Poison Imbuement ** around lvl 60 to just help with single target DPS. If you aren't having an issue, you can skip that all together :)
10/24/23: Paragon Points Updated!!

Utilize Twisting Blades and Puncture to Vuln damage steel chair slam things into the ground. You'll swap between Cold and Shadow Imbuements to CC and blow things up while using Dash and Shadow Step to maximize your mobility.

How it Plays
This will differ depending on where you're at in the leveling process, but once all of your actives are online, it should look like this:
- Open up engagements with Cold Imbuement turned on
- Use Puncture to deliver Vulnerable to targets as you line up for the next step
- Activate Twisting Blades
- The goal here is to deliver CC to everything to benefit from your passives
- Use Shadow Imbuement once you've corralled everything together
- You want shadow imbuement's explosion + Inner Sight to keep your energy constantly topped off
- Use Dash for mobility to keep you moving
- Shadow Step is used as an escape button, but mainly you want to use it to alpha strike towards a hard target (elite/boss). It'll help put damage on the table and it's imbueable so use it with a Cold Imbument Charge
Boss Rotation:
- Open up with Cold Imbument
- Puncture for quick Vuln and Slow
- Twisting Blades for damage and then quickly use
- Shadow Step with your last Cold charge to maximize damage
- Shadow Imbuement on another Twisting Blades
- Puncture the entire time you're not using an imbuement or TB.
- Rinse & Repeat, using Shadow Step & Dash as needed for mobility and supplemental damage
How it Works
This is an easy to follow Twisting Blade Rogue Build that's geared towards using Cold and Shadow Imbuements
I wanted to create a Twisting Blades build that's a little outside of the standard purview. There are a lot of really cool things to take advantage of here, and I'll eventually be pivoting this to use Death Trap and the new unique that keys off of it.
Your mobility will be linked to Dash which will allow you to move around quite freely, coupled with the abilities from the Vampiric Curses.
Shadow Step is going to utilize the Ravager's Aspect to give you an additional charge to act as a 'get-out-of-jail-free' card.
Gear Notes:
- Ashera's Khanjar is NOT required for this build. I just wanted to put a unique in there for fun. Use whatever weapon you'd like.
- Your Crossbow is strictly used as a stat stick, so just chase affixes and make sure it's giving you the most increase to your damage as it possibly can.
- Stolen Vigor, Cheat's Aspect, and Might are all slot agnostic, so you can apply those aspects to any of those 3 slots in whatever combination makes sense for you!
- If you look at the Gear Stats toggle in the Equipment section, the Affix priority for the Dual Wield weapons is from Most to Least important starting with Dual Wield Weapon 1 down to Dual Wield Weapon 2
- You could swap Ravager's Aspect with Ghostwalker's Aspect if you want some more mobility.
Vampire Powers
The Vampire Powers above are based off of conjecture and need more testing to see how Vampiric Curses work on the live version of the season as well as how some of the affects (such as the one that grants Fortify) actually work. Expect some changes
Leveling
The build as is, is appropriate for leveling. I'll be tweaking things and making an end game version which I'll link here
Gear Progression
Until we find out exactly how the Resistances and Armor fall out in Season 2, try to focus on maximizing your resistances on your jewelry as a baseline, then supplement it in the sockets that CAN have resistances on them (Chest & Legs)
Paragon Points
Paragon Points Updated!! I'll be changing the build for an endgame version, but this will more than suit you until we do!
I'll be building out an entire paragon tree in this build up to a certain point (roughly level 65/70). The endgame version will have the complete paragon tree.
