Lightning Storm (Out of Date)

This Lightning Storm build will clear the entire screen with insane AoE! This is one of the best builds for Infernal Hordes! Unleash chaos as a Werewolf lightning turret!

• Navigate to additional tabs for Mid-Game and other variations.

1. Alternate casting Pulverize and Lightning Storm to build Quickshift stacks.
2. Activate Cataclysm to kill most enemies before ever seeing them. This will also apply Vulnerable.
3. Use Debilitating Roar to reduce enemy damage and increase yours.
4. Blood Howl can be used before Lightning Storm for more damage.
5. Spam Lightning Storm until everything is dead. It can be held down, but it is slightly more effective to spam click.
6. Cyclone Armor is used for passive Damage Reduction, but can be used to push enemies away and increase the damage they take.

This build utilizes various synergies related to buffing Core, Werewolf, and Storm skills.

• Tempest Roar allows Lightning Storm to become a Werewolf skill, which opens up a ton of utility, damage, and damage reduction.
• Shapeshifting opens up a bunch more utility and damage.
• We can maintain the duration of Cataclysm through Endless Tempest which we get in the passive tree and on Mjolnic Ryng. We also reduce the cooldown of Cataclysm with Calm Before the Storm, skill ranks, and Tempers.
• Chaos Armor allows us to use unique items in slots that would normally only be defensive.
• The rest of the kit adds more damage and survivability.

Attack Speed Breakdown

Attack Speed has 2 categories and each Cap has a maximum of 100%. Ideally, you want to stack some of both bonuses without going over 100% and wasting the bonus.

Cap 1:

• Gear Affixes
• Attack Speed Elixer
• Paragon Nodes
• Swooping Attacks Spirit Boon(Only used if gear affixes don't cap this and you don't need Max Life).
  Cap 2:
• Werewolf Attack Speed Tempers

Mercenaries

Mercenaries are not the most important thing overall, but they can be valuable for solving holes in your build.

• Raheir is a good choice as Hired Mercenary for either Armor or Resistances as needed. Both options also give additional damage from their respective passives: Mocking Lure and Inspiration.
• Aldkin is a reliable Reinforcement choice with Field of Languish which reduces enemy damage.
• If you're looking for Attack Speed, you can use Varyana as your Reinforcement with Bloodthirst.
• Subo is a solid Hired Mercenary choice because his passive reveals all materials and enemies on the map! This would be a great choice if your Armor and Resistances are already capped.
