This pairs very well with Stronghold as both The Lament and the exotic gloves get their bonuses from blocking. This sword also has Anti-Barrier intrinsically.
Armor
These gloves increase the defensive capabilities of swords immensely. These gives swords a maximum guard stat, extra damage resistance when blocking, and gives Restoration after blocking based on the number of hits blocked.
With the use of Strongholds, The Lament, and Banner of War this build makes it hard to die, but also can dish out solid damage. Strongholds increase the blocking damage resistance you get and activates Restoration based on hits blocked. The Lament is a great DPS tool, but also heals on dealing damage. Banner of War gives pulses of healing once activated from a sword or melee kill and gives a 10% damage boost to swords and 40% to melees.
Otherwise this build plays like a fairly standard Strand Titan build with suspension from Shackle Grenade which is extended from Thread of Continuity. Defeating a suspended target will create a Tangle as well as an Orb of Power from Thread of Wisdom. Grenade energy is given back from simply dealing damage via Thread of Generation as well as collecting Orbs of Power from mods.
- Defeat a target with a melee or sword to activate Banner of War for healing and sword/melee damage buffs
- Suspend an enemy with Shackle Grenade
- Defeat the suspended enemy to spawn an Orb of Power from Thread of Wisdom as well as a Tangle
- Destroy the Tangle to activate Into the Fray for Woven Mail and increased melee regen
- Pick up the Orb of Power for ability regeneration and Woven Mail
- Block with The Lament as needed to have nearly 100% damage resistance to take extremely minimal damage
