Shiv got a huge rework in the 3/06/26 patch, and Serrated Knives is by far his best and most powerful skill. This build focuses on throwing mass knifes while spacing and kiting to assassinate targets, ideally carries and spirit assassins.

Extra Regen for some sustain.

Extra Charge for more Serrated Knives.

Early recovery with items like Healbane and Restorative Locket.

Decay is Shiv's strongest item as it allows for easy Rage generation as well as doing an immense amount of damage to synergize with Serrated Knives.

Radiant Regeneration is a fantastic health recovery item for Shiv.

Warp Stone for some much needed mobility.

Counterspell is very mandatory for front lining heroes as the most dangerous ults and spells will usually be casted on frontliners.

Witchmail for cooldown recovery for even more knifes.

Leech for the ultimate sustain in fights.

Ethereal Shift to dodge and survive certain initiation like Dynamo's Singularity or Lash's Death Slam.

Tank through everything with Juggernaut, Plated Armor and Spellbreaker.

Healing Rite for dangerous lane opponents.

Stamina Mastery against stamina removal opponents like Warden or Kelvin.

Spirit Resilience and Bullet Resilience if you want to tank at an earlier time instead of damage.

Blood Tribute for Cursed Relic and other damaging ailments like Afterburn and Toxic Bullets.
