Buy Headshot Booster and Mystic burst first in order to constantly poke the enemy to create space.

Then buy Extra regen if you need help surviving in lane. Otherwise get High Velocity Rounds for stronger poke and easier last hits. 

And then round out your character with Extra Health.

Next you pick up Berserker and Kinetic Dash. Berserker is the most important item in this kit, geist inherently damages herself when casting abilities and this damage works towards the passive berserker gives increasing our weapon damage output in fights by up to 50%.

Then look to obtain some 1250 spirit items like Suppressor, Coldfront, and armor if needed to improve survivability. This should make us strong enough to save for our next spike.

Purchasing armor along with Headhunter will provide the tools needed to become a very strong mid game duelist.

Warp Stone and getting our Life Drain maxed as soon as possible is our next big power spike. It allows us to split and confidently take 1 v1s as well as excel in teamfights.

Use our Essence Bomb (1) to proc our debuff items like Suppressor and Bullet Resist Shredder. Try and target the enemy carries who are susceptible to silences such as Pocket and Yamato with max level Life Drain when possible.

We can look to upgrade to Improved Bullet Armor and Improved Spirit Armor  as well as Improved Burst.

Frenzy against a spirit heavy team comp can give you an unexpected burst of survivability and damage.

If the enemy team has characters such as Yamato or Pocket who are vulnerable to silences, purchasing Silence Glyph can be very impactful.

If the enemy team has high amounts of CC for example Bebop, Dynamo, or Abrams, purchasing Reactive Barrier early can be strong.

If the enemy team has a Lash or Vindicta, buying Slowing Hex can become necessary.
