Bangboo Tier List & All Bangboo List

Welcome to our Zenless Zone Zero Tier List covering all of the Bangboos.

Disclaimer: Information is based on CBT. Official release may change skills, values, or even add additional Bangboos. Plugboo/Resonaboo have yet to be revealed, but they likely are best in slot for their respective Attributes (likely Electric and Ether).

Bangboos are almost like pets for your team, helping out your Agents with active/passive abilities. Some Bangboos can even Chain Attack, extending the burst damage window your team deals when you Stun an enemy.

For more information on Bangboos, you can read our full ZZZ Bangboo Guide.

Bangboos are acquired through a specific banner, and you can select which S Rank Bangboo you want to pull for. This makes it extremely important to target the right one.

Our tier list hopes to guide you toward making better decisions when acquiring Bangboos.

Bangboo Tier List (Version 1.0)

ZZZ-BangbooTierList-03July2024

S Butler, Plugboo, Resonaboo, Rocketboo, Sharkboo, Starterboo, Booressure
A Amillion, Safety, Cryboo, Devilboo, Electroboo, Exploreboo, Luckyboo, Penguinboo, Sumoboo
B Avocaboo, Bagboo, Boollseye, Paperboo

Methodology

In general, Bangboos aren’t too difficult to assess. Bangboos are also very account dependent. If your main team is an Ice Team with Ellen, you’ll want a Bangboo like Sharkboo or Penguinboo.

Some Bangboos provide good universal effects (like Booressure), while others are more team dependent. Most of the Bangboos we rate in B tier either focus on their personal damage or provide defensive buffs. While sustain effects like healing and shielding can be very beneficial, from a meta standpoint, increasing your damage should be the priority.

If you have an Ice Team but already have Penguinboo, maybe it’s more efficient to go for a different Attribute Bangboo rather than go for Sharkboo. Or maybe you really want your Ellen Ice Team to be as strong as possible, so you want to pull for Sharkboo (Ice) or Butler (Victoria Housekeeping). The decision is ultimately up to you.

As more Bangboos release, tiers will ultimately shift, but this is where we currently rate them.
