In The Bazaar, there are many keywords that grant specific effects to items.
It’s crucial to know how these work because they greatly impact the synergies and strength of a build.
This reference will list all known keywords and their definitions.

Ammo
- When an item runs out of Ammo, it stops charging. Ammo refills after each fight.
Burn
- Damages players twice per second. Every time burn deals damage it decreases by one.
Charge
- Immediately advances an item’s cooldown.
Crit Chance
- The chance for an item with a cooldown to critically hit, doubling its Damage, Heal, Shield, Regeneration, Burn, and Poison active effects.
Destroy
- Destroyed items are completely disabled on-board, preventing them from activating and negating all passive effects.
Flying
- Certain abilities can cause items to start Flying. While an item is Flying, all Slow or Freeze effects applied to the item have their duration halved.
Freeze
- Frozen items do not charge and cannot activate.
Haste
- Items with Haste charge twice as fast.
Heal
- Recover you Health, up to your Max Health. Cleanses 10% Poison and Burn.
Lifesteal
- When dealing damage, recover health equal to the amount of damage dealt.
Multicast
- When you use this item, its effect happens multiple times.
Poison
- Damages players every second.
Quest
- Quest items require you to fulfill certain requirements in order to unlock additional abilities to empower the item. Oftentimes it includes purchasing X amount of a certain category of items, or by meeting a stat threshold in combat.
Regen
- Adds health equal to your Regen every second.
Shield
- Blocks damage. Ignored by Poison and reduces Burn damage by 50%.
Slow
- Items with Slow charges half as fast.
Transform
- Randomly changes the selected item into another item of the same size. The new item will retain the former enchantment IF applicable. You will only receive an item within your Hero's pool, even when Transforming neutral or off-Hero items.
Upgrade
- Increases an item’s tier, which improves its effectiveness and value.
