If you’ve been awaiting the Marvel Rivals release date, the time has finally come!

As part of the Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, an official announcement trailer revealed that its launch date is December 6, 2024.

The trailer started off with hype reveals for Captain America and Bucky, the Winter Soldier but had the big finale of the December date.

What platforms will Marvel Rivals release on?

On December 6th, 2024, Marvel Rivals will be released on four different platforms:

• Steam
• Epic Games Store
• PlayStation 5
• Xbox Series X|S

As of now, Marvel Rivals will not be on the Nintendo Switch.

Will Marvel Rivals be free to play?

Marvel Rivals has been confirmed to be free to play – not only that, but the release date announcement also included the massive news that ALL heroes will be unlocked “at launch and beyond”.

This means that the game will rely on selling skins and other aesthetics to make a profit.
