Best Support Synergy with Yunara in LoL

Yunara is one of the best ADCs in the game right now, and it so happens that she is the newest champion in LoL! Yunara is a traditional ADC, which is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other champions or ADCs Riot has released lately. As Yunara is a traditional ADC, she can work with a variety of different Supports, and in this guide, we will break down 5 of the best Support champions you can pick with her.

While these champions might not be statistically the best, as there are many strong Supports available right now with inflated win rates, such as Mel. These champions have things in their kit which work well and empower Yunara to become an even stronger ADC. If you pair any one of these Supports with her, then you will heavily increase your chances of winning the lane and the game!

If you’re looking for other recommended picks, head over to Yunara’s champion page for more!

1. Braum

The first champion on our list who can work well with Yunara is Braum. Braum is a great Support for most ADCs as he has a lot of tools in his kit to help the ADC in a lot of different situations.

First off, let’s talk about his Q. Braum’s Q can be used to start skirmishes in the bottom lane, and you can also use it to protect her by slowing the enemy down. She doesn’t have much form of engage, and lacks any hard CC; this ability, paired with his ultimate, makes him a great engage champion. She needs this because it might be harder for her to get kills with a utility Support.

As she is vulnerable, his shield is also really helpful at blocking incoming damage, which will keep her alive for longer. He can also use his W on her to increase her defensive stats, which will make her more tanky in an all-in.

2. Milio

Milio is the one of the newer Supports to bless Summoners Rift. His unique play style and simplicity has made him a fan favourite for many players in the Support role. Milio works great with many different ADCs and has a plethora of things to keep his allies alive.

Yunara can be extremely dominant and chase enemies down. She wants to get up in their face, especially in team fights when her Ultimate is active. Milio can enable this with his W, which not only provides her with a heal and extra sustain, but it also increases her range, which means she is safer when attacking the enemy in a team fight. His W would also make chasing down enemies in lane easier.

Let’s not forget that his Ultimate provides some additional help in skirmishes and in team fights- and so does his E. His E can give her a speed boost, which is very versatile, and of course, a shield. This can protect her and give her additional sustain in lane to keep her alive for longer.

3. Nami

The third champion on our list is probably the hardest Support we will be discussing today, as she has quite a few skill shots to land, and she is quite squishy. However, many players would love to be paired with a good Nami player.

So Nami has a lot of different tools in her kit that can be used pretty well with most champions. First off, her Q and Ultimate are both good at starting fights as they are CC tools. As we mentioned, she lacks any CC, so when Yunara is paired with someone who has CC, it can be pretty beneficial!

She also has both her W and E, which will help when trading with the enemy. Her W will provide a heal but also damage the enemy, and her E will empower Yunara’s basic attacks, making her stronger in all-ins and increasing her chances of getting kills. In team fights, Yunara can deal tons of damage, especially when empowered. This makes Nami and her a great pairing.

4. Renata Glasc

The fourth champion on our list is a Support that has been good for quite a while, although I have never been able to get on with her, and that is Renata. Renata Glasc is a strong champion with a lot of crowd control and abilities to protect her allies and keep Yunara alive.

Both these champions want to team fight, and Renata’s Ultimate is fantastic in those tight and enclosed locations around the map such as in the jungle and around the objective pits. This is because her ultimate has a very large radius. While the enemies are impacted by her ultimate, Yunara can be let loose with her basic attacks, dealing tons of damage to the enemy.

If you haven’t played Yunara yet, she wants to get up into the enemy’s faces and she needs to be very cocky in team fights. Renata has a tool in her kit that can bring her back to life if she happens to die. This spell is also really useful at providing additional incouragement to your allies so they can play more aggressive and more cocky.

5. Lulu

Despite Lulu receiving 4 changes and multiple nerfs this season, Lulu remains an S-tier Support for many in the community. She has a lot of utility to keep her allies alive, which makes her great with the majority of ADCs in the game!

Lulu has her W and E, which are really helpful when it comes to chasing down the enemy and getting kills. These two spells make any hypercarry even stronger, and increase their chances of getting kills throughout the game. These spells also have the added benefit that they can provide additional protection to Yunara if needed.

They really shine in team fights as their kits complement each other. If you are not the best Lulu player around, don’t worry! All you need to do is use all of her abilities on the carry to keep her alive. It is very simple!

In Conclusion

Yunara is a unique champion, and probably one of the best old-skool ADCs Riot has released recently. The great thing about these types of ADCs is that they work well with a wide range of champions and team compositions, so if you don’t like any of the 5 champions we’ve suggested, that’s totally okay. You can pick any traditional Support and will do well with Yunara.

Please remember that these champions may not be statistically the best, but have things in their kit that make them great to pair with Yunara! Thanks for reading.
