Remembrance Trailblazer (colloquially known as RMC) is a powerful free-to-play Support that all players get access to after the release of Patch 3.0 and the Story of Amphoreus.
Being the first playable Remembrance character, RMC has the trademark characteristic of this path by having a “Memosprite” – a Summon that inherits the owner’s stats with their skills and traits.
RMC is exceptionally versatile as a Support unit with effectiveness that can easily match many Limited units, is arguably stronger than their Harmony version (HMC), and should be one of the highest priority units for any player to raise upon getting.

HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Release Date
Remembrance Trailblazer will be available as soon as Patch 3.0 drops on January 15th, 2025. They will be obtainable via Story progression and their Eidolons via in-game exploration.
RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer HSR Kit Review (Trace Level 10)
RMC’s Memosprite – Mem
To speak about RMC, first, we have to inspect their Memosprite companion – Mem.
Mem is a Summon with personal traits/skills and will appear on the action order bar as a separate unit. Mem does not have Energy like normal character but instead, it has a similar mechanism called Charge which is filled via various means.
Once it is Mem’s turn, if it does not have 100% Charge, it will use “Baddies ! Troubles!” which is an AoE attack with no additional effect. When Mem has 100% Charge, it will immediately act again and can use the skill “Lemme! Help You!” which is the main utility of RMC.
This skill allows Mem to immediately 100% Action Advance a unit of choice and grant them a True Damage buff called “Mem’s Support” for 3 turns. This effect can affect another Memosprite but cannot affect traditional Summons such as Lightning Lord, Numby, or Fuyuan.
The True Damage boost is a direct final unmitigated damage instance that triggers off any instance of damage. A good way to understand it would be if an ally deals 10,000 damage on a hit while having Mem’s Support, which gives 30% – 50% True Damage, it will immediately deal an extra 3000 – 5000 damage on that same target.
Lastly, Mem’s talent is a teamwide Crit Damage boost based on Mem’s Crit Damage, which is directly inherited from RMC. Their other traces grant a 50% Charge immediately upon Summoned by RMC and when it disappears, it will advance the RMC’s action by 25% so they can re-summon Mem quicker.
Remembrance Trailblazer’s Kit (Trace Level 10*)
RMC’s kit is used to summon and empower Mem:
- Skill – Summon Mem. If present already, heal Mem by 66% and grant 10% Charge.
- Ultimate – Summon Mem, grant 40% Charge, and deal AoE Ice DMG.
- Talent – Set Mem’s Speed to 130 and HP to 80% of RMC + 640*. For every 10 Energy regenerated by allies, grant Mem 1% Charge.
RMC Traces
RMC’s first trace works similarly to the Sprightly Vonwaq Planar Set, advancing their action by 30% at the start of the battle. It will also grant Mem a 40% Charge when summoned for the first time in battle.
This trace in conjunction with Mem’s trace (50% Charge) guarantees Mem’s Advance Forward after its very first rotation to apply True Damage on the main Damage Dealer.
Their second trace gives Mem a 5% Charge whenever Mem uses Baddies! Trouble! Attack.
Their third trace is a monstrous increase to the True Damage buff depending on the target’s max Energy cap, with every 10 energy above 100 granting an additional 2%, capped at 20%. This means it will hit the cap when buffing a DPS at 200 or above energy cap, giving RMC great synergy with high energy cap units.
RMC Technique
Remembrance Trailblazer’s Technique is quite powerful as well. It creates a field that upon entering the battle, will delay all enemies by 50% and deal Ice damage to every enemy. The damage itself is quite negligible but the delay is very useful and triggers every wave, which vastly improves the team’s survivability for the first few turns of each wave.
Overall Thoughts
Overall, RMC is another powerful addition to the Support Roster. A good comparison to RMC would be Bronya, another free-to-play friendly Support with Action Advance and powerful buffing capacity.
However, RMC stands out compared to Bronya and even some limited units in that they offer True Damage – an extremely powerful damage mechanism that essentially increases the final damage of any Damage Dealer by 30-50% unmitigated. Furthermore, Mem’s Advance Forward ability is not as SP intensive as Bronya. True Damage works with any type of Damage (such as Super Break) and has a much better uptime, which allows RMC to be one of the easiest supports to splash into any team.

RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer HSR Eidolons
E1 | Narrator of the Present: Increases the CRIT Rate of the ally target with “Mem’s Support” by 10%. When an ally target has “Mem’s Support,” its effect also takes effect on the target’s memosprite/memomaster. This effect cannot stack. |
E2 | Gleaner of the Past: When ally memosprites (aside from Mem) take action, Trailblazer regenerates 8 Energy. This effect can trigger a max of 1 time(s) per turn. The trigger count resets at the start of Trailblazer’s turn. |
E3 | Chanter of the Future: Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Memosprite Talent Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10 |
E4 | Dancer of the Muse: When an ally target with 0 Max Energy actively uses an ability, Mem can also gain 3% Charge, and the multiplier of the True Damage dealt by this target via “Mem’s Support” additionally increases by 6%. |
E5 | Seamster of the Ode: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10. Memosprite Skill Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10. |
E6 | Bearer of the Revelation: Ultimate’s CRIT Rate is set at 100%. |
Eidolon Priority
Since RMC’s Eidolons are all obtainable via Story Progression and Exploration, all players should strive to get all of their Eidolons as soon as possible. Their best Eidolons are easily E1 and E2.
E1 is a flat 10% Crit Rate buff on the unit with “Mem’s Support” and can affect units with Memosprite, making it a great Eidolon for future Remembrance DPS as well. E2 is strictly for comboing with future Remembrance DPS and it will improve a fast RMC’s energy rotation a lot.
E4 is mostly for supporting units with no Energy gauge like Feixiao or Acheron, essentially treating them as units with 130 Energy caps for RMC’s True Damage trace calculation.
Lastly, E6 is rather underwhelming as it is a DPS Eidolon, making their Ultimate always deal a Critical Hit. Supporting is RMC’s priority and often Speed and survivability are better goals than more DPS when building them than aiming for DPS so the impact of this Eidolon is negligible.
- Eidolon 1: Very Good
- Eidolon 2: Very Good
- Eidolon 4: Good
- Eidolon 6: Low

HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Light Cones
F2P Options
Victory In a Blink
Increases the wearer’s CRIT Damage by 12% / 15% / 18% / 21% / 24% . When the wearer’s memosprite uses an ability on any ally target, increases all ally targets’ Damage dealt by 8% / 10% / 12% / 14% / 16% , lasting for 3 turn(s).
This Light Cone is available from the Memory of Chaos / Pure Fiction / Apocalyptic Shadow and it is one of the best F2P Light Cone for RMC, considering the number of options for them is quite limited. It gives a small Crit Damage boost which helps with their buff scaling and also grants a 16% Damage boost on any unit that is granted the Mem’s Support effect.
Shadowburn
When the wearer summons memosprite for the first time in battle, recovers 1 Skill Point(s) and regenerates 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20 Energy for this unit.
This is the other F2P supportive Light Cone for the Remembrance unit and is a decent placeholder option as it grants a solid 1 time Skill Point and Energy injection for RMC, which can help in fast-clearing situation.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Main Stats
- Body: Crit Damage / HP
- Feet: Speed
- Orb: HP / Attack / Ice Damage %
- Rope: Energy Regeneration Rope
Mem’s Critical Damage buff is based on RMC’s Crit Damage so Crit Damage is the best option for chest pieces. Crit Damage will also help E6 RMC deal decent damage when there are other teamwide buffers on the team.
If survivability is an issue then HP% armor is recommended. For Feet, Speed is the best option since RMC wants to move as often as possible to quickly charge Mem. When it comes to Orb, HP is best for survivability while Attack or Ice Damage% are for more damage. For Rope, Energy Regeneration Rope is key to quickly charging Mem.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Substats
- Speed
- HP
- Crit Damage
Speed Tuning
RMC is best to be built with high Speed so they can quickly charge Mem. Generally, as much Speed as possible is great for RMC, but with Vonwaq then around 160+ Speed is recommended to get 3 actions within the first cycle along with their trace. After Speed, HP and Crit Damage are great stats to get on RMC to improve their bulk and buff effectiveness.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Relics
Eagle of Twilight Line
- 2-Pc: Increases Wind Damage by 10%.
- 4-Pc: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
This set grants the highest amount of Action Value of all sets and should be the ideal set to improve RMC’s action economy. It can either lower their Speed requirement or get an additional turn depending on how much Speed substat RMC can get.
Hero of Triumphant Song
- 2-Pc: Increases ATK by 12%.
- 4-Pc: While the wearer’s memosprite is on the field, increases the wearer’s SPD by 6%. When the wearer’s memosprite attacks, increases the wearer and memosprite’s CRIT Damage by 30% for 2 turn(s).
Hero of Triumphant Song set is a good generic set for Memosprite users. Both Speed and Crit Damage are decent stats for RMC, but overall it is not particularly high impact.
2 + 2 pieces of Messenger Traversing Hackerspace & Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
- 2-Pc: Increases SPD by 6%.
- 2-Pc: Increases SPD by 6%.
Speed is RMC’s highest priority stat and this combination is a cheap alternative to alleviate this requirement when building RMC.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Planar Sets
Sprightly Vonwacq
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle.
Sprightly Vonwaq is generally RMC’s best option thanks to both the Energy Regeneration Rate bonus and the Action Advance effect at the start of the battle. This set lets them move before everyone else to quickly get Mem into action.
Lushaka’s Waterscape
2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
One of the best Support sets in the game, granting Energy Regeneration Rate and the highest amount of buffs to a main DPS.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Teammates
Due to their power, Remembrance Trailblazer can work with almost any team. However, they have particularly high synergy with any DPS that has a high max amount of Energy to maximize their True Damage boost, as well as DPS that can effectively make great use of the Action Advance from Mem. RMC also has synergy with fellow Remembrance DPS thanks to their E2 and their Crit buff affecting memosprite, so future Remembrance DPS should be good alongside RMC.
Aglaea
Aglaea is an upcoming Remembrance character that will likely synergize well with RMC and Sunday. (As RMC is also Remembrance and Sunday buffs units with a summon) While this isn’t confirmed, it’s highly likely considering the release timing and paths.
DPS
The Herta / Yunli / Argenti
[Link to Full The Herta Guide]
These are all standard Crit-based DPS with high Energy caps so they can get the most out of RMC’s True Damage and Crit buff.
Feixiao / Boothill / Jingliu / Firefly
These DPS all love Action Advance Supports that do not consume a lot of SP (Skill Points). True Damage triggers off Break / SuperBreak damage as well so RMC is one of the few ways to further amplify Boothill / Firefly DPS beyond their original team. However, she is only recommended for these DPS after they already have their core support for the team, such as Ruan Mei / Fugue for Break and Robin for Feixiao’s team.
Harmory/Nihility
Robin
Robin is the strongest supporting combination with RMC. Since True Damage can be granted to multiple units and only tick down on the target’s turns, Robin and RMC can be used similarly to the famous Robin / Bronya combo, with RMC advancing Robin after she has already moved so Robin can use her Ultimate quickly.
This also grants the True Damage boost to Robin and it will trigger off every Robin’s Ultimate damage instance as well which is a sizable amount of damage output in any team. Robin even has a higher Energy cap for higher True Damage scaling from RMC’s boost.
Sunday
Both Sunday and RMC are Remembrance supports so they fit very well with each other when Supporting a Remembrance DPS. For non-Remembrance DPS, they are both 100% Advance Forward supports with buffs that last more than 1 turn so they can overlap their buffs onto one main DPS.
Sunday’s Energy boost from his Ultimate also fuels Mem’s charge. RMC can also advance Sunday then Sunday can advance both the DPS and their summon as well, like in the case of Jing Yuan.
Sustain
Huohuo
Huohuo is easily the best sustain to pair with RMC since she provides a powerful teamwide 20% Energy Boost from her Ultimate, which helps charge Mem notably faster.
HSR RMC / Remembrance Trailblazer Teams
Remembrance Trailblazer Standard Crit-Based Team
RMC can be played with almost any Crit-based DPS, with an emphasis on any DPS with a high Energy cap, have great Energy regeneration, or/and love Action Advance.
The idea behind these teams is simple: RMC would fill the 3rd spot of these teams after the main DPS and the main preferred Support of said DPS. They can all be run without sustain as well for people wanting to do fast clear, thanks to RMC’s powerful delay Technique.
Remembrance Trailblazer Standard Summon/Memosprite Team
Similar concept to the crit-based hypercarry team but these teams demand Sunday as he is the premium Summon / Memosprite Support unit.
Remembrance Trailblazer Break / SuperBreak team
With Fugue’s release replacing Harmony Trailblazer, RMC can easily slot into the Break / SuperBreak team as these Break DPS love Action Advance. There are a lot of delays from Breaking enemies and from all the units in this team as well so they can be run without sustain comfortably.
Conclusion
Remembrance Trailblazer is an exceptional free-to-play unit and is in contention for being the strongest free unit released to date. They are versatile, powerful, and cheap to raise. Thus, there is no question that they should be built up as soon as they are available.
