Elation Trailblazer: Guide, Skills, Builds, Teams & More
Elation Trailblazer (colloquially known as EMC) is a new form following the path of Elation that all players will get access to after Patch 4.2. A supportive unit with the unique gimmick of activating another Elation’s character Elation Skill, EMC is a solid option for most Elation teams at the time of her release, but is much tamer compared to the powerhouse that is Remembrance Trailblazer.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Release Date
Remembrance Trailblazer will be available as soon as Patch 4.2 drops on April 22nd, 2026. They should be obtainable via Story progression and their Eidolons via in-game exploration.
Elation Trailblazer HSR Kit Overview (Trace Level 10)
EMC’s most notable aspect is their Ultimate. Upon use, it generates 5 Punchlines and increases a target ally’s Crit Damage by 50% for 3 turns. It also dispels all Crowd Control debuffs on that ally, and if the ally is an Elation character, they gain 10 Certified Bangers, and their Elation Skill immediately triggers, accounting for 20 Punchlines upon activation.
If the target is not an Elation character, this Ultimate advances them by 50% instead. Thanks to their second major trace, this Ultimate also recovers 1 Skill Point, and every time an ally uses an Elation Skill — including the one triggered by this Ultimate — EMC gains 2 Certified Banger the next time they use their Skill.
The remaining parts of Elation Trailblazer’s kit are a mix of unimpressive damage output and rather lackluster team support. Whenever Elation Trailblazer attacks, their Talent generates a fixed 10 Energy and 3 Punchlines.
Their Skill is an AoE attack that generates 20 Certified Banger for themselves and deals damage equal to 60% of their Attack to all enemies. While EMC holds any stack of Certified Banger, their Skill also deals an additional instance of 30% Elation Damage to all enemies, calculated using the highest Certified Banger value on the team.
EMC’s Elation Skill is another offensive option, dealing 8 random bounce instances of Elation Damage before finishing with a hit spread evenly among all enemies. Their major traces further lean into this mixed offensive profile: their first major trace increases their Elation by 10% for every 200 Attack points exceeding 1000, capped at 60% Elation at 2200 Attack, while their second major trace increases their Crit Rate by 15%. Finally, EMC’s Technique grants all allies either 20% or 30% Elation at the start of battle, lasting for 3 turns.
Overall Gameplay Evaluation
Elation Trailblazer’s kit is the result of an attempt to create a unit that can both support and deal damage. Still, both sides are held back to avoid a repeat of Remembrance Trailblazer’s dominance throughout patch 3.x and beyond. Most of their power budget lies in her ability to immediately trigger an ally’s Elation Skill, which is quite relevant for most Elation damage dealers.
Beyond this, however, their support capabilities are largely limited to Punchline and Certified Banger generation — useful for the Elation team but fairly mediocre in terms of broader teamwide impact.
On the offensive side, Elation Trailblazer has very low Multiplier Values, meaning that even with their self-buffs and teamwide buffs from units like Sparxie or Yao Guang, their damage output remains negligible within the Elation team.
All in all, Elation Trailblazer is a step down from both Remembrance Trailblazer and Harmony Trailblazer in terms of meta impact and overall usability. That said, given how few Elation units currently exist — let alone impactful supportive ones like Yao Guang — EMC remains a decent option alongside the Elation damage dealers available so far, and should hold that role until a stronger limited Elation support arrives to take their place.
Elation Trailblazer HSR Core Skills

Basic Attack – Make Some Noise: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Trailblazer’s ATK to one designated enemy.

Skill – Let the Storm Rage On: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 60% of the Trailblazer’s ATK to all enemies and gains 20 point(s) of “Certified Banger.”

Elation Skill – I Said “Elation,” Did I Stutter?: Deals 8 instances of DMG, with each instance dealing 20% Lightning Elation DMG to one random enemy. Then, deals 60% Lightning Elation DMG, which is split evenly among all enemies.

Ultimate – May the Trailblaze Fly You Starward: Gains 5 Punchline point(s), increases the CRIT DMG of a designated ally by 50% for 3 turn(s), and dispels Crowd Control debuffs from them.
If the target possesses an Elation Skill, they additionally gain 10 point(s) of “Certified Banger” and immediately use their Elation Skill 1 time, taking a fixed amount of 20 Punchline point(s) into account. If the enemy target is defeated before the Elation Skill is unleashed, the Elation Skill is unleashed on enemy targets that just entered combat instead.
If the target does not possess an Elation Skill, their action advances by 50%.

Talent – That Smile Hits Different: After using an attack, regenerates a fixed amount of 10 Energy and gains 3 Punchline point(s).
When the Trailblazer holds “Certified Banger,” their Skill additionally deals 30% Lightning Elation DMG to all enemies. This DMG is calculated using the highest “Certified Banger” value among all allies.

Technique – We Are So Back!: After using Technique, 1 of the following effects will be randomly granted:
Small chance to gain “Hearty Laughter”: Increases Elation by 30%.
High chance to gain “Irrepressible Laughter”: Increases Elation by 20%.
When the next battle begins, increases all allies’ Elation stat by the corresponding amount for 3 turn(s).
Elation Trailblazer HSR Traces

Eidolon Evaluation
All of EMC’s Eidolons are obtainable through Story Progression and Exploration, so players will unlock them naturally as they play through Patch 4.x content.
Their Eidolons are rather modest overall. E1 and E2 improve their Ultimate’s value, while E4 and E6 enhance their Elation Skill. Specifically, E1 generates extra Certified Banger stacks for the ally targeted by their Ultimate, and E2 increases that ally’s Elation by 12% for 2 turns.
E4 converts their Elation Skill into a 10% AoE Vulnerability debuff lasting 2 turns, providing a modest boost to damage amplification. Finally, E6 increases their own Crit Damage by 100% when using their Elation Skill — though this has limited impact given their inherently low Multiplier Values.

Premium Options

When She Decided to See: Increases the wearer’s SPD by 18%. When the wearer enters combat or uses Ultimate on an ally target, the wearer gains “Great Fortune” for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has “Great Fortune,” all allies’ CRIT Rate increases by 10%, CRIT DMG increases by 30%, and the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 12%.
At the start of each wave, the wearer regenerates a fixed amount of 15 Energy.
Yao Guang’s Signature Light Cone provides a strong Speed boost, a teamwide increase to Crit Rate and Crit Damage, and two valuable effects that improve EMC’s Energy Regeneration — helping them use their Ultimate, the most important part of their kit, more frequently.
F2P Options

Elation Brimming With Blessings: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 20%. After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, increases the target’s Elation stat by 12% for 2 turn(s).
Players can obtain this from The Herta’s shop. This Light Cone is tailored with EMC in mind, granting a solid Attack boost to help meet their trace’s requirements while also improving their damage buffing.

Mushy Shroomy’s Adventure: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 12%. When the wearer uses an Elation Skill, increases Elation DMG taken by all enemies by 6% for 2 turn(s).
A solid and easily obtainable free-to-play option, available from the Memory of Chaos Shop. Its Elation Vulnerability% debuff synergizes well with their Eidolons and helps the team deal more damage.

Tomorrow, Together: Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 12%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases the Elation of all allies by 8%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Players will get this from the event in Patch 4.2. This serves as a good placeholder for EMC until they can afford better alternatives.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Main Stats
- Body: Crit Rate% / Crit Damage%
- Feet: Speed
- Orb: Attack%
- Rope: Energy Regeneration%
Although EMC’s damage is only a small portion of the Elation team’s overall output, building for damage can still help weaken bosses and mobs for their teammates to clean up. As such, a Crit Rate% or Crit Damage% Body piece and an Attack% Orb are recommended. For Boots, Speed is always the priority to maximize their actions and generate resources — such as Energy, Punchline, Skill Points, and Certified Banger — for the team. For the Rope, an Energy Regeneration% option is essential to increase the frequency of their Ultimate.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Sub Stats
- Speed
- Crit Rate% / Crit Damage%
Speed sub is highly valuable if it can helps EMC reaches a certain threshold, such as 134 / 160 / 200 Speed in combat to get more turns. Beyond that, Crit subs are decent tertiary stats to look for to improve their damage.
Main Stats Goal & Speedtuning:
- Goal: As high a speed as possible.
Aim for a minimum 134 Speed for an extra action in the first cycle. Extra Speed
HSR Elation Trailblazer Relics
Option A

Diviner of Distant Reach:
- 2-Pc: Increases SPD by 6%.
- 4-Pc: Before entering combat, if the wearer’s SPD is greater than or equal to 120/160, increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 10%/18%. When the wearer uses Elation Skill for the first time in each battle, enhances all allies’ Elation by 10%. This effect cannot stack.
This is the best relic set for Elation support units, providing Speed, Crit Rate, and even a teamwide Elation buff. Its main drawback, however, is that the Elation buff does not stack — meaning that if players equip this set on both EMC and another unit such as Yao Guang, the bonus Elation boost from one of them will be wasted.
Option B

Ever-Glorious Magical Girl:
- 2-Pc: Increases CRIT DMG by 16%.
- 4-Pc: The Elation DMG dealt by the wearer and their memosprites ignores 10% of targets’ DEF. For every 5 accumulated Punchline allies gain, the Elation DMG dealt additionally ignores 1% of targets’ DEF, stacking up to 10 time(s).
This set is a bit more selfish, granting more personal offensive buffs but without providing any teamwide effects.
Option C

Eagle of Twilight Line
- 2-Pc: Increases Wind Damage by 10%.
- 4-Pc: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
Elation Trailblazer wants to move very often to generate more Punchline Energy, so Eagle can be more effective than raw Speeds if extra Speed does not net them extra turns over specific Action Value thresholds.
Option D

2+2 Pieces With Speed & Attack Bonus: Players can also go for any 2+2 combinations of set that gives Speed bonus as placeholders until they can transition to a full set.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Planar Sets

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then it increases the Attack of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
Extra Regeneration Rate is very valuable for Elation Trailblazer. While Elation Damage does not scale with Attack, certain Elation Damage Dealers can still benefit from the extra Attack boost from this set, such as Sparxie and Evanescia.

Punklorde Stage Zero:
- 2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 8%. When Elation reaches 40%/80% for the first time in combat, increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20%/32%.
This set is best for personal damage for EMC, as it is made with Elation Damage Dealers in mind.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Teammates
Elation Trailblazer can be played alongside most of the Elation units released so far. Units with impactful Elation Skills, or those that benefit from high amounts of Certified Banger or Punchline, are good candidates to take advantage of their kit.
Damage Dealers:

Silver Wolf LV. 999: Since Elation Trailblazer can trigger Silver Wolf Lv. 999’s Elation Skill with 20 Punchline accounted for, this generates 20 Hidden MMR for Silver Wolf on top of her other Punchline generation sources — making EMC a solid pick for a Silver Wolf team, particularly for players who do not have Sparxie. Silver Wolf’s Enhanced Elation Skill also deals significant damage, and EMC can trigger it while Silver Wolf is transformed.

Evanescia: Evanescia scales exceptionally well with Certified Banger, and Elation Trailblazer generates a large amount of it for them to convert into Energy.

Sparxie: As a hypercarry, Sparxie deals heavy damage through her Elation Skill. Additionally, since EMC can operate as a Skill Point-positive unit, Sparxie will have more Skill Points available to utilize.
Amplifiers:

Yao Guang: Yao Guang is the best Elation support in the game, benefiting all Elation units through her unique mechanic of triggering Aha Instants. Most Elation teams that EMC participates in will greatly appreciate her presence.
Sustain

Huohuo: EMC’s primary power comes from their Ultimate, making Huohuo the ideal sustain option for them and the Elation team as a whole — at least until a dedicated Elation sustain unit is released.
HSR Elation Trailblazer Teams
At her release in patch 4.2, Elation Trailblazer’s potential team options are very limited, thus we only list her notable teams and will update as there are more Elation units being added into the game.
Elation Trailblazer Sample Team:

HSR Elation Trailblazer Value and Conclusion
As an Elation support unit, Elation Trailblazer is quite underwhelming compared to their predecessors like Remembrance Trailblazer and Harmony Trailblazer, breaking the trend of the Trailblazer being a core meta support for each patch’s flagship team archetype. At the time of their release, however, the lack of strong Elation supports and the codependent nature of Elation units means they still hold good usability and standing — capable of filling a spot in teams that are still missing their best-in-slot members, such as Evanescia’s team. That said, it is almost certain that EMC will be replaced as soon as a new Elation support is released, given the relatively lackluster amplification they bring to the table.
Players looking to invest in the Elation team should raise EMC as a placeholder — unless they already have a complete Silver Wolf, Sparxie, and Yao Guang lineup — and plan to transition them out once a stronger Elation support eventually arrives.
