All Diablo 4 Purveyor of Curiosities Locations and Guide

In this Diablo 4 Purveyor of Curiosities guide, we’ll cover all locations and how they work!

The Purveyor of Curiosities are special vendors in Diablo 4 that allow you to exchange or gamble your Murmuring Obols for a random item for any gear slot, similar to Kadala from Diablo 3. These items can range from White to Legendary and everything in between; it’s also been hinted that you can obtain Unique items from these Purveyors, though extremely rare.

Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion will feature the exciting new Spiritborn class. Learn more with our Spiritborn reveal.

Currently, the Purveyor of Curiosities sells two types of items:

  • Gear slot Items: Purchase a specific type of item without knowing anything else about it. It will roll completely randomly.
  • Whispering Keys: Keys that obtain special chests known as Silent Chests. They’re randomly placed around Sanctuary, so it’s handy to keep at least one key on you if you want to open them.

What are Murmuring Obels, and Where to Obtain them?

Murmuring Obols are a special currency in Diablo 4 that essentially replaces Diablo 3 Blood Shards. They’re used at Purveyor of Curiosities to gamble for certain gear. Murmuring Obols are collected by completing Events that happen around Sanctuary; these can be any kind of Event but are commonly located in the open world.

Murmuring Obols can be obtained from the following:

  • World Events
  • Dungeon Events
  • Cellar Events
  • Quest Rewards
  • Murmuring Caches

Where are the Purveyors of Curiosities?

There are quite a few Purveyors of Curiosities vendors throughout the sanctuary, and you can typically find one in a major city/town. There are also a few located in smaller towns. See all key locations and events with our Diablo 4 interactive map.
