2XKO Senna Guide - Moves and Overview
Overview
Senna harnesses the power of the Black Mist and light to alternate between a zoning human form and the aggressive rushdown Wraith form. Her entire game plan centers around building and spending Wraith Meter to seamlessly switch between defensive and offensive play.
The versatility of two unique forms makes her an extremely flexible duo partner to pair with any other champion's playstyle and gameplan. You can pair her with another zoner like
Caitlyn or
Jinx, to create a wall of projectiles and play keepaway with your opponents, or focus on Wraith Form rushdown mechanics by pairing
Senna with champions like
Ahri or
Akali.
Wraith Form is different from
Warwick's Bloodlust state in that
Senna can chose to hold onto full meter indefinitely until the player manually uses an activation move such as Wraith Shift, whereas
Warwick automatically enters Bloodlust the moment his meter fills up.
Strengths And Weaknesses
- Extremely versatile in neutral
- Excellent Wraith Form mobility
- Strong Assists
- Slow Movement and Dash in Human Form

Unique Mechanic Breakdown
Human Form (zoning focused)
Relic Stone Cannon
Her
S1 Specials utilize her Cannon to fire a beam of light at her opponents. She can shoot on the ground, in the air, and at angles. All versions can also be charged to increase effect and mix up timing.
S1 Special Super is a powerful blast version of the basic form.
End Seeker / Black Mist
S2 Specials fire Black Mist projectiles. Compared to her cannon, these projectiles are slower moving and can be used to cover angles the straight cannon shots cannot.
Having the ability to shoot projectiles grounded, full screen, angled, aeiral, lobbed and slow moving make
Senna a versatile zoner with optoins to cover every approach option of her opponents.
Wraith Form (rushdown focused)
Absolution
Senna gains Wraith meter on hit from
H Attack normals and
S1 Specials.
S2 Special moves all build Wraith meter on block as well as on successful hits. Wraith meter is divided into two bars, and as long as
Senna has at least 1 bar, she can manually enter Wraith Form (as opposed to
Warwick who automatically enters Bloodlust Form once his meter fills).
Senna can enter Wraith Form when she has at least one bar available. Wraith Shift (
Down Forward
S2 Special) performs a dash and enters Wraith form. You can cancel out of attacks with Wraith Shift to enter Wraith Form mid-combo or blockstring.
Once in Wraith Form,
Senna gains access to an alternative moveset. Some normals gain enhanced effects such as
H Attack becoming an on-the-ground launcher, which makes it a powerful combo-extension tool.
In addition to enhanced attacks, Wraith Form also greatly increases
Senna's mobility. Her
S1 Specials become fast dash attacks and she gains the ability to
Air
Dash.
Neutral
Human Form Neutral
Final Embrace
Final Embrace (
Down+
S2 Special) is a very important neutral tool because it gives
Senna great screen control with a lingering projectile.
-
Air
Down+
S2 Special can also be used for air stalling and manipulating your movement.
Use air
Down+
S2 Special to bait out anti-airs and give you the opportunity to punish the whiffed attack. This is especially useful against champions with medium to long range grounded attacks/projectiles because you can safely float above the attack while charging up the orb.
Uncharged
Down+
S2 Special doesn't travel as far, but it's also useful for zoning and setplay. When going for a raw charged Final Embrace, it's best to cover yourself with an assist.
The reward for getting a fully charged Final Embrace off is that it creates time for Senna to:
- Reposition
- Call an assist
- Fire Cannon
- Approach behind it
- Call out the opponent's defensive option (punish their jump, mix their bock, etc)
Keepaway
Senna is a hybrid zoner when in human form, but you can't be only focused on full screen zoning. Because her back dash is so slow, and her cannon is slow and high commitment, she doesn't excel at run-away like other zoners such as
Jinx.
Back jump +
H Attack is her best run-away tool. The
Air
H Attack pushes
Senna back along with the backward jump inertia. Useful for when you are trying to play a zoning style.
- When finishing a blockstring sequence that the opponent is successfully blocking, Senna and quickly use the
Air
H Attack to reset neutral, create space, and get back to zoning gameplan if you don't want to stay in the opponent's face.
Piercing Light (Cannon)
Unless you have a hard read on the opponent's movement, avoid firing cannon raw in neutral. The cannon startup and recovery animations are very long, leaving
Senna open to counterattacks.
Most often, when going for cannon shots, you should cover yourself with an assist call. The assist protects
Senna if the opponent dodges the shot.
- If you see you see your attaks whiff and the opponent has committed to an attack (often a jump-in),
Tag to your assist and respond appropriately such as a counter
Down
H Attack. - If they block or get hit, you can convert or continue offense.
Wraith Form Neutral
Wraith
M Attack
When in Wraith form,
Senna's standing
M Attack fires a slow moving projectile.
Four-way
Air
Dash.
You can even chain dashes her
Up or
Down air dash after a
Forward dash. Keep your opponents guessing by constantly changing up your movement patterns. Use her air dash to create high/low and left/right mixups.
- Try empty jump-in, then
Up dash > air attack to hit overhead - or - empty jump >
Down dash > low grounded attack to hit low.
Air attacks can also be used during air dash.
Senna doesn't need to wait for a set distance before attacking. This makes defending against her air approach and mixups very difficult for the opponent.
- Air dash into a
Air
H Attack crossup is a crucial go-to mixup tool to utilize in your arsenal.
Wraith Dive
The dive auto-aims at the opponent. Moreover, the dive is plus on block and can be canceled into an air dash before
Senna launches forward.
After getting the opponent to block,
Senna is right on top of them and able to act first, so this is your chance to go for strike/throw, bait and dash, sandwich with assist, or high/low mixups.
- Wraith Dive comes in quick, but the defender can react with either an anti-air, parry, or invulnerable counter, so make sure you are mixing this together with feints, dashes, and crossups to make your opponent hesitent through conditioning.

Champion Synergy
Senna is quite flexible in her game plan, and her assists are easy for most champs to utilize. Therefore, there isn't necessarily a bad teammate for her, but there are a few qualities that her best allies possess.
Because
Senna can traverse near full screen with her Wraith form air dash. Therefore, when paired with a champ who has a long-range assist, she can set up sandwich crossups straight out of neutral.
Champions like
Thresh with his huge back assist, or
Jinx with her rocket are good examples.
Thresh's assist can also convert a cannon shot into a full from anywhere in neutral.
Additionally, fast-forward moving assists are the best for converting her human form zoning into full combos. For this reason, champoins such as
Ekko are also strong choices for their synergy with her full kit.
