Pyg's Tropical Snow Pylons

Overview

This was a build I came up with when taking a look at Tropical Island and how to play around it. I lucked into a Pylon one game and the build came together. I didn't get the maximum efficiency out of it, as I was stuck with a Heavy Matchbox, but it still worked pretty well. Ended up 8 wins, with a Steam Ladle, I'm confident it could've been a 10 win build. Check the video to see it in action.

You want Heavy Enchant on anything and everything, except you want Restoration on your Pylon and Steam Ladle preferably. A Matchbox will work in lieu of a Steam Ladle but you'll need a way to scale it with Skills instead of depending on Snow Globe / Steam Ladle freeze combo. Depending on your skills, Restorative or Shielded should work to scale the Matchbox.

Tropical Island Enchant

Tropical Island will end up being very powerful but entirely situational Enchant-wise. If you're missing a Pylon you might consider Turbo, otherwise Icy or Restorative will be your best bet. You may opt for Shielded if you picked up some good Shield Skills earlier in the run.

Start

Leverage Heal & Burn items like Steam Ladle Matchbox with Healing/Sheild Items like Cargo Shorts and Bushel. Run a Apropos Chapeau and a Sauna with a Kukri for early game wins. Take skills applicable to the build.

Biggest issue is not snagging a Pylon or Tropical Island. I've found Island to be much more reliable to get but Pylon can be difficult simply because defeating a Burninator Bot may not be feasible every single time you see one. So a possible alternative is to aim for an Ice Cream Truck with Heavy enchant. Bold Under Pressure can be good or Haste Enchanting your Matchbox can also work as long as you have Heavy on your other items.

Bold Under Pressure, Invigorating Cold, Tall Buildings, and Overheal Haste can all help fill the gaps of a missing Pylon. For example if you snag Invigorating Cold, taking something like Cold Room becomes a viable option along with another small item.

Pepper Spray can be a good holddover but you kinda want your Matchbox or Marbles doing the Slows. Piggles could be a good option if you've got a Heavy Marbles or Matchbox.

The Main Engine (Necessary Core)

Absolutely need Tropical Island and a Pylon to truly let this build take off. Everything else can be done fairly easily especially if you luck into a good Marbles or Steam Ladle/ Matchbox on start.

You can leverage other burn builds in the beginning with a Sauna, Bandages, Cargo Shorts or Bushel with Matchbox Steam Ladle Lighter or Hot Stones to carry you through until you can snag the Island and Pylon.

Pylon

You need a little luck grabbing the Pylon, you have a chance to snag it from random Property or Hero Shops (Dooley), but your best bet will be defeating a Burninator Bot.

Tropical Island

Random Property or Hero Shop (Vanessa). But your better off getting your Tropical Island from defeating Roaming Isles.

Stash

In your stash, you'll want to maximize your HP gains through the use of Lemonade Stand and the fruits from Tropical Island. Don't pass on a Signet Ring either, it's a great passive HP boost every hour. Try to grab a Cash Register early for econ with a Money Tree.

Situational

Toughness - Good for early game item building like a Shielded Bushel or Cargo Shorts or when you have Shielded Enchants later.

Augmented Defenses - See "Toughness", stacks well with the selling for Lemonade Stand and Tropical Island

Calming Heals - Works if you have reliable regen during fight from Tropical Island with some Restorative Enchants.

Overheal Haste - If you're missing a Pylon, this can be a great way to stack haste on your items.

Shored Up - great when you have Shielded Enchant on one of your items.

Invigorating Cold - if you have a Pylon, you'll already be stacking haste like crazy, this is good when you can get the Pylon into the board

Tall Buildings - Can work in combination with other skills/items to help pick up the slack for a missing Pylon

Bold Under Pressure - See "Tall Buildings"
