Overview

Mak has a ton of crazy combos and synergies enabled by his unique item pool.

Reagents gives Mak the greatest access to enchantments among all Heroes, which undoubtedly leads to wild outcomes.

While most strategies in The Bazaar have a specific structure or game plan in mind, have you ever considered a build that simply rolls the dice?

Introducing, the Recycle Launcher combo!

Core Combos and Synergies

Recycling Bin + Vial Launcher

The combination between and creates an endless supply of random Potions, solving Ammo with a rather unconventional means of "Reload". Each time a Potion is used, deals Damage and grows stronger. With a speedy supply, it can output some solid numbers.

The RNG nature of this build means that it's fairly flexible with the Potions it runs. After all, each use will Transform them into another Potion, meaning you have no control beyond the first cast of each one. It's okay to not be fully optimal, so long as you assemble the three core components.

Before we dive into the specifics, it's important to remember that Transforming items retains their enchantment properties. So in order to maximize value, try to Transform Reagents and/or continuously reroll them to get a solid baseline to work with.

Runic Potion

is arguably the most important Potion of the build and essentially functions as the third piece of the combo. grants Lifesteal to the , giving the build a very reliable form of sustain. Mak is the Hero with the lowest Max Health in the game, so this goes a long way to his survival.

It's very important to not include Weapon Potions such as , as there's a chance the 's Lifesteal will apply to the wrong target. It must hit . For the same reason, avoid Transforming and utilizing as its Obsidian enchant actually becomes a downside.

Energy Potion

is extremely important for keeping the build running as fast and smooth as possible. Its tier actually matters a lot, as every second of Haste will pass over and remain on the item once Transformed.

Additional copies are always welcome if you find them, and you can see that Kripp utilized two to jumpstart the build. Without enough Haste, you'll be more at the mercy of RNG.

Vitality Potion

is the final major roleplayer of the build. Its Healing capabilities are often unmatched, but what's actually even more important is finding the right enchantment for it. You really want to find a Fiery or Toxic enchant, as it effectively converts a percentage of your Max Health into Burn/Poison.

This becomes the primary source of offense in the later stages of the game, whereas can begin to fall off in Damage. Similarly, you could probably enchant instead, but given the control Mak has over rerolling items it's likely easier to get an enchanted .

Supportive Items and Skills

Potion Distillery + Alembic

and are Mak's key ways to continously Transform Small items, essentially allowing him to "reroll" enchantments (or more accurately, the hosts for them). Look to pick up Reagents such as or , or even take advantage of any highest tier Small items you find.

While it's ideal to Transform a Reagent and reroll it for a great enchanted item, in many cases an un-enchanted Gold/Diamond tier Potion will easily outclass a Bronze/Silver enchanted one. and are perfect examples of this.

Also, don't forget to make sure you're rolling a high enough tier to find the item you're after. only exists at Gold/Diamond, so don't waste your time rerolling Bronze/Silver items, because enchanted or not it won't matter.

The Tome of Yyahan

is an exceptional Stash item alongside the likes of and/or . Being able to stack Regen permanently each time you Transform a Reagent is a big deal, especially considering all of this power comes from outside of combat.

Emergency Draught

is a fantastic skill if you're able to stack up enough Regeneration, making it a great find alongside . As soon as your Health dips too low you'll immediately receive a huge passive recovery boost, and even greater if you get the Diamond tier version.

Dumpster Diving

is like having as a skill, except it only hits Potions (upside) and can even find Medium-sized items too. This is pretty sweet considering it doesn't occupy any Stash space itself, unlike every other comparable effect. However, I'd recommend avoiding the Bronze tier as it'll quickly become irrelevant if not upgraded later on.
