Langxian
Langxian is a build that must be committed to early. Due to the nature of how it scales,
Langxian needs to be found within the first day or two in order to keep it up to speed. Best case scenario you pick it up from the very first vendor, allowing you to power it up to 80 base Damage before the first round of PvP.
The later you acquire it, the better the rest of your build needs to be in order to include it. It's possible to take a
Langxian drop from Kyver Drone and run with it alongside a strong board. However, if you end up losing an early fight, you'll likely have to drop it entirely.
Its Damage can only keep up as long as you keep winning, but if you do manage to get several early wins it'll become a big threat very quickly. Early game fights tend to be slow enough for
Langxian to strike normally without any Haste support, but as things progress you'll need to make adjustments.
One build path involves going all-in with aggressive Weapons, utilizing
Langxian more as a burst finisher. This can occasionally be an easier route to start with as Weapons tend to be pretty interchangeable. However, as the run progresses keep an eye out for Haste, Charge, Crit, and Cooldown reduction support.
Don't forget to take on as many extra PvE fights as possible. Always take the 50% chance of a Mountain Pass fight, because if you succeed you'll snowball further and further ahead. Momentum is key with any
Langxian build.
Kripp had a Deadly enchanted
Langxian, which when combined with other items, guaranteed the 100% Crit rate. This is very important to help ensure you can win with just 1-2 hits.
Seashadow + Rowboat
Seashadow is an extremely effective way to accelerate
Langxian in combat. Now that in-combat Cooldown reduction affects the active timer, it essentially acts as if you're Charging the items (while speeding up every future use). This is a huge buff, especially when the first activation is often the one that matters most.
This makes
Seashadow a premium supporting item for
Langxian, alongside the common
Rowboat. Between both items it's very easy to Charge up and get around the normally long ten second Cooldown.
Kripp also had a Turbo enchant on his
Seashadow which is a fantastic addition to kickstart the build. Keep an eye out for this enchantment combo.
Star Chart + Silencer
Star Chart is a valuable passive item for its combined Crit Chance and Cooldown reduction, and also ensures you can always get extra Gold + XP from The Docks event.
Silencer is the other obvious inclusion once you've committed to the One-Weapon setup. Don't worry about positioning it adjacent for the Damage, as
Rowboat and
Star Chart take priority.
