Fort or Phonograph
Fort gives the build a different angle of attack, allowing it to multiply its Damage output with the likes of
Spices, all while slowing down the overall pace of combat. Freeze skills can help make up for the lack of
Stopwatch, but when you factor in its higher scaling, it generally doesn't need to swing more than once or twice.
Alternatively, you can opt for a faster setup with
Phonograph. This gives the build a faster startup in exchange for the disruption and Multicast. Both are valuable assets for taking
Yetarian Club to the next level, and which one you choose will ultimately depend on the rest of your board.
Cold Room
Cold Room accelerates the countdown towards
Yetarian Club since it Freezes multiple items at once. Upgrades are important for this as the quantity of Freezes (and in turn Charges) differs between tiers.
The Multicast from
Fort creates a total of six Freezes at once (assuming Diamond
Cold Room), more than enough to get the
Yetarian Club clobbering started.
Piggles
Piggles may not get full value alongside only one Small item, but it with
Fort's Multicast the Charge effect becomes far more effective. Considering
Stopwatch is such a valuable component of many
Yetarian Club builds, it justifies the slot even when supporting just one item.
Spyglass + Salt
Spyglass gives a reliable amount of Crit Chance to the
Yetarian Club while also increasing an enemy item's Cooldown. This is particularly effective with
Fort since stacking a longer Cooldown duration becomes all the more punishing.
Not having
Stopwatch means there's less reliance on having Small items, making this a good utility option if you're able to luckily find it during your run.
Salt has incredibly fast Crit scaling, so even without
Spyglass or skills you can easily reach 100%. Its fast Cooldown works great with
Yetarian Club since you'll have time to stack up before the first attack goes off.
Matchbox
Matchbox normally wouldn't have as big of an impact here, but in this case it scaled to insane proportions thanks to having a Fiery
Gumball Machine. This allowed every single Gumball to add two more Burn, which is why it reached an insanely high 53 Burn.
Note that this will probably be nerfed after this has been written, but it shall remain here for context as to why the
Matchbox was included in Kripp's particular run.
Luxury Tents
Luxury Tents adds a nice bit of survivability to the build with its cheat-death effect, but more importantly it allows you to take advantage of any Restorative enchantments. By applying Restorative to
Yetarian Club and/or
Stopwatch you can grant them Multicast.
While
Fort is generally a lot easier to pull off, this does create a much sturdier build overall, so if the stars align it's a powerful direction to follow.
Bottled Tornado combos incredibly well with the cheat-death of
Luxury Tents. Starting the Sandstorm early will almost always be more detrimental to the opponent and should lessen the gap for
Yetarian Club to get the job done.
Igloo + Keychain
Igloo is a defensive Freeze item that offers excellent Shielding and incredible enchantment potential. Its built-in emergency effect gives builds a great comeback mechanic, creating immediate Freeze and Shield while triggering all other benefits (such as Charging
Yetarian Club).
Keychain is a fantastic way to maximize Freeze triggers, as alongside
Igloo it's effectively a
Coolant (without the Cleanse). This of course won't work in every setup, but when you're able to guarantee or effectively limit what it targets, it can be a great addition.
Sapphire tops off the build to make its Freezes all the more deadly. While rare outside of Mak, it's always an item worth keeping an eye out for, as it's a welcome inclusion for pretty much every Freeze board ever.
