Overview

Fiery, Toxic, and Obsidian enchantments offer a crazy amount of power to those who can scale the items efficiently. In The Bazaar, it turns out that one of the best forms of scaling exists outside of combat entirely; Value.

Value-stacking has one of the highest ceilings in the game, allowing you to convert a strong Economy into absurd levels of power.

Then when you factor in Value-doublers like and the rare skill, that's where things truly get out of hand.

In turn, you get a strategy that's well worth the investment. While it may require a bit of extra time to get going, you have the insurance knowing it won't completely fall off in the late game.

How to Invest in Properties

Establishing a strong Income is an important part of the early game. You're going to need a good sum of gold to be able to purchase some of the later items of the build, and also to cover your bases as you shift items around in the early and mid game.

Common early pickups often include and/or . In addition, the Jungle Ruins event offers a Pyg-only option of +2 Income that other Heroes don't have access to. Unless you're in desperate need of the accompanying vendor, it's definitely worth it.

You may also have the option to select Income as a level-up reward (instead of random item/Loot). This is generally the best choice until the later parts of the game, as by then you'll probably get more mileage out of a good Loot item.

Having a solid savings will ensure you can regularly reroll at priority vendors, plus have the freedom to dig a little deeper when you encounter the Pearl's Dig Site event.

If you're lucky enough to encounter the rare Investment Pitch event, be sure to select the option to double your leftmost Property's Value. This is a massive power spike, allowing you to reach new heights well beyond the average scaling potential.

Rewards Card

is a vital part of this strategy. It's the most reliable way to continuously stack value onto your Properties. It's important to search every potential vendor to find it ASAP, then use your targeted level-up upgrades to eventually bring it up to Diamond.

Once the is established, always pay close attention to your pathing during the run. Unless a very good event or optional choice is offered, it's probably best to select the vendor. Even if you don't intend on buying anything it will at the very least scale your Property.

Ledger

(formally Deed) has been reworked, allowing it to now function as an excellent mid to late game Value-scaler. With a strong enough Income/Economy you can turn excess gold into even more gold, while also having another great way to stack your Properties.

Previously you had to rely on acquiring your Property early enough in order to have enough time to increase in Value. opens the door, allowing you to pivot later and make up some of the time disparity.

Keep in mind that you'll often need ample inventory space in order to capitalize on . You'll need at least five open spaces for events, and it also helps to make Gumball events less tedious.

Fixer Upper

is a great early game purchase that will passively upgrade throughout your run as you spend more gold. However, it can also be picked up and upgraded later on if needed.

The Burn/Poison enchants are what define its greatest potential, as their damage-over-time output is nearly impossible to match. When you reach level 10 be sure to always enchant the . If Burn/Poison isn't the known option, roll the random enchant.

If you manage to land the Burn/Poison enchant, amazing, continue to look for the rest of the build. If not, you will still have a respectable item since is a Large item with a low Cooldown.

When the enchantment doesn't align, instead focus on converting your stacked into Shield Damage with (or the less common ). This is a completely respectable backup plan.

Subscraper

is perfect because it takes advantage of other Value-doubling items while also granting Value across the board. It's best included in the build alongside a Fiery/Toxic , although it can also be a threatening enchantment target of its own.

can be switched from scaling to scaling , since its own Value will be passed onto the other items in combat.

Kripp applied the Shielded enchant to which lets the item create an absolute wall of defenses. It's definitely not as important as enchanting the , but does allow the build to easily fend off Weapon Damage.

Stained Glass Window

is another great way to scale the Value of your Properties. While it does have a strong Cooldown reduction effect, using it in PvP can be very risky.

You won't be able to acquire until a bit later on since it starts at Gold tier. However, once you have it be sure to swap it onto your board during PvE in order to gain extra Value.

Supportive Items and Skills

Balcony

is a key supporting item since it doubles the Value and reduces the Cooldown of . Even at Silver tier it's worth using for the doubling effect, but it's definitely worth finding upgrades for more Cooldown reduction.

Kripp found a Heavy enchant for his which gave the build a good amount of disruption. is an excellent host for enchantments, so any extras you find can be put to great use.

Master Salesman

is an absolutely insane skill for this build, so much so that you'll even want to take on the Property Baron over most of the Legendary-border encounters for a chance at getting it.

This brings the build to an entirely new level, as you'll have yet another means of doubling your items' Values. If you encounter a Property mirror and the opponent has this over you... good luck!

Big Numbers

offers an effective boost to Crit Chance for specifically Large items. It's a bit weaker when playing a variant, but overall performs reasonably well for this type of build.

Other forms of Crit scaling can be tougher to make worth unless you have specific enchantment combos. Fewer items means less overall procs, which is why a flat Crit buff works particularly well in this case.

Rigged

is another very strong monster skill that helps kickstart the build. Haste is often a luxury for Pygmalien, so having a way to get things going faster can be very important.

This type of Property build excels in the late game, and really only has to worry about getting one-shot before it gets going. helps accelerate that Shield buildup, reducing the odds of getting bursted down before the build takes off.

Long Strides

is a great form of Cooldown reduction that should fit into the structure of most builds. is an even stronger alternative if you're playing a Fiery/Toxic setup, but obviously won't help alongside .

Crusher Claw & Double Sign Variants

Crusher Claw

is an alternative Weapon to , and there's pros and cons between each. The Claw's upside is that its Damage isn't "removable". You don't have to worry about the opponent blasting through your Shield, only to strike for next to nothing after awaiting the long Cooldown.

However, the trade-off is that it obviously doesn't scale as well. While it can still grow with Shield scaling, it'll never reach the same values as literally stacking up Shield. Regardless, either option is perfectly fine and has their own use case depending on how your build shapes up overall.

VIP Pass

is a repeatable Haste enabler for your Properties and also helps permanently increase their Value (along with its own). This is a pretty great Economy item for Property builds, and it's usually pretty easy to afford the single Small item slot for its inclusion.

Open Sign

can grant a sizeable amount of Damage/Shield if your Properties are stacked right. That said, in all honesty this was more of a meme setup than anything. Plus, Kripp's Golden enchant certainly made this more appealing than it normally would've been.

Closed Sign

can actually create a wild amount of Regeneration under the right circumstances, and proved to have some real value compared to . Again, this is more of a meme setup, but is an avenue you can explore if your run allows for it.

Hard Shell

adds an extra insurance policy to help stay in the fight. It's great against bursty opponents, as it'll often create a large enough buffer to buy time for your Shielding to stack out of reach.
