Bill Dozer Friends Dooley Build

This build is a scaling Friends build that makes plays around Haste and Dooley's Companion Core. Dooley has a ton of variations and items that will swap in and out throughout the build, but when played right this offers great scaling and a good chance to get that 10 wins!

The core of this build focuses on your Companion Core, Bill Dozer and Brick Buddy to give excellent Shield and Damage scaling as the fight plays out. The more your friends cast, the more you haste and the higher both of these scale meaning if you aren't killed quickly, you'll likely win.

As with most Shield builds you will struggle against Poison builds as your healing often isn't good enough. As with most Dooley builds, it isn't the strongest early game and you need key card upgrades to really reach it's full potential.

Bill Dozer Friends

Companion Core

Dooley doesn't have to always use his Core but in this case it's perfect for our Friends build. Every time a Friend is used this is Charged by 1 second. You also Haste every other Friend meaning you'll Charge more and more and constantly use this. This is even better because the Core itself is a Friend. When placed next to Brick Buddy it will give that extra Shield and it also gives more Damage to Bill Dozer.

Bill Dozer

Bill Dozer is the star of the show with this build but especially when it becomes Diamond. Not only does the bonus Damage per Friend use increase, the Friend Cooldown reduction also increases. It's pretty straight forward, the more you use Friends the more damage you do, and your friends have almost half their cooldown. When you throw in the Companion Core permanently Hasting your Friends too.. they are going to just keep firing off.

Brick Buddy

Now we have our damage sorted, it's time to not die. Brick Buddy isn't technically required to make this work but it's one of the most reliable Shield scaling cards. Every time you use a Friend next to Brick Buddy it gains extra Shield for the fight. The Companion Core is a Friend and is being used constantly so placing it next to this will scale to ridiculous heights extremely quickly. This card can be really strong even early into the game so make sure you pick it up as soon as you can.

Once you have your core, you need to get a few more Friends and anything else to help you cast as quick as possible.

Fiber Optics

Fiber Optics is one of the best supporting cards for this build if you can find the Diamond version. It isn't required to work, but your Companion Core on the left will be constantly used which means your Bill Dozer on the right will always benefit from a 2 second lower cooldown.

First Aiden

First Aiden has a low cooldown which makes it perfect for being next to Brick Buddy. Every time your Core casts Haste on your Friends it will trigger the effect for each. If you're able to add any +healing onto this it can scale into the late game but it's still very effective early.

Chris Army Knife

Chris Army Knife is a Friend, Weapon and Tool which means it has some great synergy with a lot of different skills that you might pick up throughout the game. Being Damage and Shield it will scale both with the right skills, plus it's easy to upgrade since you'll get it at the very start of the game.

Sharp Corners

Since Bill Dozer scales itself this skill isn't required but it will make the build even more deadly. Especially if you can pick this up relatively early from the Shield skills vendor you'll be able to snowball and pick up wins much easier. This also allows you to vary the build more as other items can scale alongside the main cards.

Dooley often wants the game to go later so having good scaling options is a must. These can be picked up early if you find them.

Walter Cooler

This build is one of the easiest ones to scale Walter Cooler quickly. He's a Friend so will receive the Haste but you can also place him next to the Core which will charge him much faster. Get this as early as possible!

Memory Card

The Companion Core cannot use the bonus Damage but we always love more money. This is especially a good pick up if you mostly have Shield Friends to begin with. The fights will last longer and you'll print money.

Schematics

Again the Companion Core cannot use the bonus Crit Chance but this is a no brainer because it can live in your stash and keep getting more value. You will often have a lot of cheap Friends to begin the game with which makes them easy to upgrade. Just sell this when you need to buy a big item later.

• If you aren't able to find a Bill Dozer or upgrade it easily then you can swap to using the Combat Core instead. The build is slightly different but it's very easy to swap to.
• If you have the Sharp Corners skill then you can adapt this build a lot more easily. Your Shield Friends will buff your Damage Friends so others can scale just as well.
• When you're offered Item Enchanments, Lifesteal on Bill Dozer is almost always the best choice. It covers the biggest weakness of this build which is the lack of Healing.
