There are several side Quests in Path of Exile that grant players additional Passive Point Quests, up to a total of 24. Making sure to do these during the campaign will ensure your character's power is as high as possible and that you don't have to backtrack after reaching the endgame.
These Quests are listed in the order that you'll encounter them as you progress through the Campaign
Useful Tip
After completing the campaign, you can press Enter and then type /passives to make sure that you've done all of these Quests. If you've missed any, it will state the name of the Quest and you can go back to complete it.

The Dweller of the Deep
Location: The Flooded Depths, located within the Submerged Passage
Quest: Slay the Giant Crab affected by an Essence

The Marooned Mariner
Location: The Ship Graveyard & Ship Graveyard Cave
Quest: Find the Allflame in the Ship Graveyard Cave, return it to Captain Fairgraves and defeat him

Through Sacred Ground
Location: The Crypt Level 2 (The Crypt is located at the end of the Fellshrine Ruins)

The Way Forward
Location: The Western Forest
Quest: Defeat Captain Arteri, pick up the Thaumetic Emblem and open the way to the Prisoner's Gate

Deal With the Bandits
For this quest, you can choose to help any one of the three Bandit leaders for a specific reward, or slay all of them for a Passive Skill Point. This choice can be changed at a later stage

Location: The Broken Bridge, beyond the Crossroads
Quest: Help Kraityn, defeat the other two Bandit Leaders

Reward: 8% increased Movement Speed
Alira
Location: The Western Forest, beyond The Riverways
Quest: Help Alira, defeat the other two Bandit Leaders

Reward: 15% to All Elemental Resistances
This is a popular choice on league starts as it helps undergeared characters to cap their Resistances earlier
Oak
Location: The Wetlands, beyond The Riverways
Quest: Help Oak, defeat the other two Bandit Leaders

Changing Your Bandit Reward
You can change your Bandit Reward at a later stage, but this is fairly expensive early into a league. This is done with a specific Vendor Recipe, and by selling the following combination of items to a vendor, you will gain the specific Bandit Leader's reward

One thing that can help is to, after entering The Quay, hug the left-hand wall and follow it until it opens up to a larger area with the Chest that contains the Ankh. After locating the Ankh, keep looking for the Resurrection Site where you will find Clarissa attempting to revive Tolman)
