Overview

Patch 3.27 brings three new Uber pinnacle boss fights, manifested from the memories of Zana. These are much more difficult versions of the pinnacle bosses introduced in 3.26 Settlers of Kalguur, the Incarnation of Neglect, Incarnation of Fear, and Incarnation of Dread.

Guide

How to find the new Uber bosses

Similar to the existing Uber bosses in Path of Exile, the keys to fight the new Uber bosses come as drops from T17 map bosses. Keys to the fight drop as Fragments and you will need five of them to start the fight.

Fragment drops are affected by Map Quantity, so the harder you roll the T17 map the more fragments you'll get on average from the boss.

Incarnation of Neglect

In the non-uber Neglect fight there are statues that you can manipulate to create barriers for the laser beams the arena shoots at you. When you run near them they will activate and can be moved around, often making an area denial problem much easier to manage.

In the uber version of Neglect, these statues no longer help you out. Instead, when they are hit with laser beams they will refract the beam, further reducing your viable arena space. To mitigate their laser spread you need to constantly trigger the statues which will stop the refraction. It will now, however, cause them to melee attack you.

Incarnation of Fear

The non-uber Fear arena spawns large detonatable fire balls over time, creating area denial to deal with as the fight goes on. The goal in the non-uber fight is to cause the boss to trigger the ball's detonation himself.

The uber Fear now has mobile fire balls which are linked to Fear, further exacerbating the area denial problem. You'll need to clean them up by baiting Fear into using his spear to pierce the balls and explode them or risk losing considerable arena space.

Incarnation of Dread

The non-uber Dread has a blue and red rose mechanic where they spawn one at a time after reducing the bosses health. You need to capture the rose and return it to Dread to continue the fight. In the uber version of Dread, these roses no longer spawn on the ground. Instead you'll need to defeat Incarnation of Fear and Incarnation of Neglect to retrieve the roses.
