What are Imbued Support Gems
Imbued Support Gems are attached to your Skill Gem as part of a Corruption mechanic resulting from the use of a new currency item. When Imbuing a Gem, you'll need to use a max level Skill Gem.
Split Arrow Corrupted for Imbued Vicious Projectiles
The Gem will be Corrupted, adding a random Level 1 Support Gem of a specific colour based on the currency used. Note that only Support Gems that can actively Support the Skill are able to be chosen.
The Support Gem added is fully accounted for, including any Cost or Reservation multiplier.
How to obtain Imbued Gems
A new currency item, Coins, will be an exclusive drop from the Mirage league mechanic. To obtain Coins as dropped loot, you'll need to pick a Wish from Varashta.
Choose a Wish
Wishes are infused with the Sigil of a Djinn, with each different choice of the three options granting the chance for Monsters to drop a specific Coin in the following Mirage encounter.
There are 3 different Coin types, each of which adds a specific colour of Support Gem:
- Coin of Skill (Dexterity, green Imbued Support)
- Coin of Knowledge (Intelligence, blue Imbued Support)
- Coin of Power (Strength, red Imbued Support)
The Coin of Knowledge adds a random blue Imbued Support Gem
Restrictions
You may only socket a single Skill Gem with an Imbued Support Gem into any one link on your character. For example, you cannot have two or more Skill Gems with Imbued Support Gems in your Body Armour.
