Build Overview

KEEPERS LEAGUE INFO

Grafts:
Spiking Uul & Impaling Uul (Molten Xoph, if you do not need more impale chance)
for both, look for %impale chance or %global phys dmg for prefix - rest of stats don't really matter

Weapon:
I cleared all content minus Ubers and farm T17s still using a FOULBORN Uul-Netol's Kiss with 500% increased warcry cooldown recovery rate

this also allows you to drop the warcry passives (Measured Fury, Deep Breaths) (keep Admonisher anointed) and spec into more damage like Harpooner and Brutal Skewering

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earthshatter has the highest damage potential of any slam in PoE - its damage is calculated by the initial impact PLUS any spikes that are close enough to the target
usually 2 spikes per attack, sometimes 3 or 4, RARELY 6

Spikes can only be popped via warcries, so the goal is to always have at least one warcry go off (either manually or via Autoexertion) per Earthshatter attack. The easiest way to do this is to stagger the quality on all warcries linked to Autoexertion, as this will slightly alter their cooldowns.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WHY Juggernaut OVER Berserker?

Juggernaut has about 50% less dmg but is about 25% tankier (close to 50% tankier against phys dmg) and has massive Quality-of-Life with Unstoppable (very important for t17s / Ubers)

keep in mind that Berserker also has constant hp degen due to Rite of Ruin - not a big deal but not irrelevant, either.

basically, going Juggernaut allows you to ignore almost ALL of the normal "ups and downs" you'll inevitably encounter during the campaign (and especially early/mid maps) and focus-in on the one thing that everyone loves the most - dealing more damage.

therefore, if you are a newer player, I ABSOLUTELY recommend Juggernaut, no questions asked, whereas, if you have more experience, Berserker is definitely a good choice.

you can always respec your Ascendancy, if you want to try both out (the regular trees are almost identical)
here is what a $$-Endgame Berserker may look like

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SKILL ROTATION

CLEARING

always pop Blood Rage as soon as entering a map

  1. Leap Slam / Frostblink into monsters
you can "cancel" the end of Leap Slam's animation by using Frostblink before you land
  2. Earthshatter (Autoexertion will usually pop spikes)
  3. * Rallying Cry (*if available & spikes did not pop)

also, remember to re-activate Blood Rage every so often, in case it ran out during downtime.

SINGLE TARGET

  1. Vulnerability & War Banner (if available)
  2. Rallying Cry
  3. Earthshatter 2-3x

repeat steps 2-3 constantly until target is dead and remember to refresh Vulnerability, if necessary.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LEVELING

Use Sunder for all of the campaign & early maps.

I have an ENTIRELY SEPARATE, FULLY DETAILED LEVELING GUIDE, here:
https://mobalytics.gg/poe/profile/woolie/builds/woolie-s-sunder-leveling-all-ascendancies

Only the basics of leveling are included in this guide.

if you have any questions, stop by the stream and I'll help you out!

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Good single target
  • Good clear
  • Excellent defense & recovery
  • Excellent QoL (Slow & Stun immune)
  • Not as high single target as Zerker
  • melee lol (close range & weapon-dependent)

Build Variants

High-Investment setup, focused on OFFENSE (~2.3x more dmg than "T17 Farm" but about ~25% squishier)

do NOT use Arn's Anguish UNLESS YOU ALSO HAVE Ralakesh's Impatience (Endurance)

Chimeric Star
Viper Glisten

do NOT use Arn's Anguish UNLESS YOU ALSO HAVE Ralakesh's Impatience (Endurance)

ensure you have as much armor and %pdr on your body armor as possible to help mitigate Echoes of Creation (can also test swapping Unrelenting to Untiring)

I recommend putting a Redblade Banner in your weapon swap and using Enduring Cry with it at the start of each map to instantly gain max endurance charges

save up for a The Light of Meaning (Physical Damage) (socket it under Stamina)

Passive Tree

main:

for 2h weap, look for: Brutal Infamy & Feed the Fury
for %phys, look for: Battle-Hardened & Iron Breaker
for BOTH, you also need any third passive (doesn't matter what it is)

Changelog

11/1 - get a FOULBORN Uul-Netol's Kiss with "Warcries Exert 1 Additional Attack" ASAP! it's incredibly cheap and VERY powerful

11/3 - once you have "-non channeling mana cost" craft (Orchard map), grab a Foulborn Uul-Netol's Kiss with "500% increased warcry cooldown recovery rate" & unspec ALL warcry nodes (minus clusters)

11/7 - added brief overview section of Keepers league info at top of guide
