Martial Artist Ascendancy Class: Tree & Passives

Path of Exile 2 0.5 Return of the Ancients will feature a new Monk Ascendancy: The Martial Artist.

Runic Meridians

The Martial Artist is a master of illusions who is able to harness the power of the Runes socketed into his flesh to empower his abilities.

Hollow Focus, Hollow Resonance

With Hollow Focus, The Martial Artist is able to automatically summon ghostly Bells that resonate when struck, and Hollow Resonance will create a permanent Bell attached to his back that will resonate every time he deals a Critical Hit

Hollow Form

Hollow Form allows The Martial Artist to channel to summon temporary illusions of himself that perform a socketed Attack before vanishing. In order to stay safe while channeling, Way of the Mountain bolsters the character's defences (and damage) while in this potentially vulnerable position

Way of the Stonefist

Way of the Stonefist converts the equipped Gloves of The Martial Artist into Fists of Stones, and the Prefixes and Suffixes will be transformed into more powerful versions of related Modifiers. These gloves also provide Evasion Rating and Energy Shield per level, making this both a massive offensive and defensive boost for the class

There are still some unannounced Notables on The Martial Artist, but all will be revealed in the lead up to Path of Exile 2 Return of the Ancients which launches on 29 May 2026!
