The Huntress is a class with the DEX attribute. This means you’ll start in the same location on the passive skill tree as the Ranger (Bottom Right)
This area is close to nodes with things like Evasion, Elemental Damage, Freeze/Shock, Crit, Flask Effect, Charm effects, Skill Speed, Movement Speed, and more.
The weapon specialty for the Huntress class is the Spear. This is a one-handed weapon type in Path of Exile 2. As the name suggests, there are skills that allow you to throw your spear as well as attack in melee range.

As with every Class, the Huntress will have Spear specific Skill Gems tailored to her "intended" playstyle. Keep in mind that any Class can use any weapon/skill gem, this is simply a baseline recommendation.

The Huntress is a new class that has an “in and out” style of gameplay. You mix melee skills with ranged skills to adapt to your situation and benefit from both styles.
Players who enjoyed playing Ranger or Monk so far in Early Access might have a good time with Huntress as well.
