Build Overview

This is the start of my guide for Arc Spell Totem Gemling Legionnaire. The idea is to double-dip on the quality bonuses provided from Gemling Legionnaire to skill gems since both Arc and Spell Totem have INSANE bonuses granting 6% more damage per remaining chain ( about 30 chains currently or 180% more damage) and 120% cast speed with 6 totems up. This is NOT a league starter character as it requires a Split Personality Ruby templar variant with the current passive trees, but I have included the twink leveling setup I used to level up the character.

Aswell as a tree variant for a Warrior Split Personality Ruby if Split Personality Ruby Templar skyrockets in price from the 3div I purchased it at.

For all stages of the guide try to have your Spell Totem around level 23, this is the minimum level for +3 totem limit while costing the least amount of mana. You can give a couple additional levels for additional totem tankiness but keep this in mind.

Setups are available for all budget levels, this build does NOT require a high budget in any way to completely crush all content in the game.

  • Needs around 5k mana and a Kurgal's Gaze before feeling tanky

Build Variants

By this point you should have a near-perfect ring, body, amulet, gloves, helm, jewels, a 5-socket Fork with an Aldur's Legacy.

Here we pick up a From Nothing Eldrich Battery Variant. With this on re-path your tree and take the following notables: Raw Mana, Arcane Intensity, Ether Flow, Controlling Magic, Branching Bolts, Lightning Quick.

First step here is to pick up a Mageblood with the Diamond Legacy mod on it. Everything Else can be up to choice but Diamond / Quicksilver / X mod of choice is ideal. I picked up amethyst to cap out chaos res but getting hybrid chaos mod suffixes on the new chest would be the best, although a nightmare to divine to good rolls.

Next up we start looking to make up lost spirit from the belt to recover the losses from the belt while also gaining a huge boost of mana with a new chest craft using the Medved's Tending rune socketed into a chest piece. !ggbody

Moving forward from here we start looking at insane-levels of investment in the forms of a 6 socket Runeseeker's Call , a Voices Sapphire for additional jewels and then making considerations towards either gaining 2 additional gem levels to change our ascendency point or a The Adorned setup. I haven't mathed out the The Adorned yet but both options are wildly expensive and will be gone over in the next step.
