Build Overview

This is the start of my guide for Arc Spell Totem Gemling Legionnaire. The idea is to double-dip on the quality bonuses provided from Gemling Legionnaire to skill gems since both Arc and Spell Totem have INSANE bonuses granting 6% more damage per remaining chain ( about 30 chains currently or 180% more damage) and 120% cast speed with 6 totems up. This is NOT a league starter character as it requires a Split Personality Ruby templar variant with the current passive trees, but I have included the twink leveling setup I used to level up the character.

Aswell as a tree variant for a Warrior Split Personality Ruby if Split Personality Ruby Templar skyrockets in price from the 3div I purchased it at.

For all stages of the guide try to have your Spell Totem around level 23, this is the minimum level for +3 totem limit while costing the least amount of mana. You can give a couple additional levels for additional totem tankiness but keep this in mind.

Setups are available for all budget levels, this build does NOT require a high budget in any way to completely crush all content in the game.

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Needs around 5k mana and a Kurgal's Gaze before feeling tanky

Build Variants

By this point you should have a near-perfect ring, body, amulet, gloves, helm, and jewels.

The big pickup here is going to be a Runeseeker's Call with 5 sockets and an Aldur's Legacy Lifespring Variant ( +2 to the levels of all spell skills ) just socket Aldur's Legacy into a lifespring and you will get this rune. You can fill the fork with many different combinations the most damage would be Aldur's Legacy , Hedgewitch Assandra's Rune of Wisdom , 2x Perfect Vision Rune and 1x Perfect Iron Rune. However we are so over damage requirements for anything you could possibly do in the game I reccomend slotting in Perfect Mind Rune just for a combination of more damage and more tankiness.

A 6 socket Runeseeker's Call is about 13% more damage with an additional crit or iron rune.

Here I also slot in Embitter into our main gem links because again we are so over damage requirement for any 6 man party 200% delirium content that you can just sac damage for shatters on enemies to remove the only thing left that might kill your character which would be on-death effects. A mageblood can come in here but you also need a Solar Amulet base and both Spirit reservation efficiency mods on both your helm and chest to achieve 6 totems. In that case slot in your Fox Idol into your chest piece to maintain your quality bonus. This will be in the next step of the guide.

By this time also make sure you have a 21/23 Arc slotted in as it is a massive damage boost brining you to another breakpoint for 30% more damage on the quality. !21
