Tablets:
3x Irradiated tablets
You want "Map has 2 additional random map modifiers" and Monster effect or increased number of rares.
Item rarity is also okay, but worse than the other 2.
Cheaper/Easier tablets. Increased number of rares/monster effect or monster rarity (get 2 out of these 3 modifiers).
Will be worse for loot, but easier maps and way cheaper tablets, use these on non-aldur saga maps.
Waystone:
8 Mod waystones seem to be the best for loot. Aim for the highest monster effect. Monster rarity is also quite good, rarity is okay and pack size is bad.
T16 waystones can also be good, but pretty expensive and aren't needed anymore since you reach area lvl 81 with t15 maps in grand expeditions, meaning you still drop ilvl 82 exceptional bases.
Cheapest option is to make your own 70% effect waystones with 6 modifiers and corrupt after.
Atlas Master:
Jado: Unexpected Missions, Eastern Knowledhe, Partial Translations and KJeen appraisal.
Doryani is also viable, but I had more success running jado.
Aldur's saga:
Ideally use this on 4 rumors that don't contain a boss/event (bosses/unique maps eat your expeditions).
When correctly used you can pretty much self sustain your Aldur's saga or sell for profit.
Can move items in your invetory to see if your next logbook has 4 or more rumours.
Unique maps/Boss Rumors:
Stardrinker/Origin of the fall/The last to fall/End of the Circle are Boss Encounters.
All that glitters/reflective waters/almost paradise/a good fellow/Fallen skies are Unique Maps.
Fallen Skies and Stardrinker:
Fallen Skies is the one good unique map, as it'll gaurantee an aldur's saga. You can currently use a "visions of paradise" to run this map twice.
Stardrinker will spawn uthred, which spawns a quest item that can only drop once per a character for runeseeker's call (900d). This is okay to do if you're travelling and looking for good aldur saga rumors.
Best runes: Keep in mind Runes do Not stack, so you want one of each
SS Tier: Opulent (do note, if you have a 8-9 rune at the end with Opulent you can also end at that if you have no prolif ones).
S Tier: Power, Death, Bond and Oath.
A Tier: Time and rebirth (rebirth is the only blue rune on this list).
B Tier: Rest of the purple runes (not important, can always reroll if it's 3-5 runes).
C Tier: Rest of the blue runes
You also always want to keep good rewards of at least 3 Divines or higher, below that is up to you and depends on the map. (I'll keep 1-2 divine rewards if map doesn't look so great, as in it has a lot of bad runes).
How to run a grand expedition with Aldur's saga:
The goal is simple, pickup the highest value purple runes and prolif into 7+ runes. This will just require a lot of expedition practice.
Essentially at the start of the expedition, you don't really care if your runes are 4-6, You want as many good runes as possible and towards the end you want a lot of 7+ rune combinations for max loot, but there is a lot of nuance here.
The one GG rune is Opulent, without this rune my loot is substantially worse and I usually rush towards this if it's on the map.
Do note on All 5, 6 or 7 maps you should reroll aggressively because your base can never be bad. Generally Always keep 7+ runes if it's near the end and always roll 5 runes at the start if it doesn't have any good purple runes.
