Lúcio Stadium Build (Sonic Boom)
Build Code
How It Works
Lucio’s best build goes all-in on Ability Power. Although his primary fire won’t scale up in the later rounds,
Crossfade will be extremely effective for high sustain, but this build requires aggressive offensive play to maximize its full potential.
For the late game, Lucio should be building ult quickly and always have Sound Barrier to counter the enemies’ fight-winning ultimates. The combination of Power and item buffs also makes the healing of Amp it Up high enough to survive most enemy attacks.
The Build

Powers Explained
Start with
Sonic Boom to help you farm cash early on from the extra healing. In the early rounds, you can play more aggressively, and put more focus on dealing damage with
Sonic Amplifier to maximize the passive healing from the first Power.
In the later rounds, you’ll find significantly more value from positioning with your team. The entire build centers around
Crossfade aura. Pay attention to the number of allies in your aura from the indicator in the middle of your screen, and make sure it never says "1."
Although it feels a bit like it's just for the memes, landing a critical hit with
Beat Drop is high value. The easiest time to do this is during scrambly teamfights on the objective, where it's difficult for the enemy target to track and evade you.
Items Explained
The first 3 rounds are the only rounds you should have any focus on Weapon Power. After these early rounds, sell off any previous WP items in exchange for accumulating as many of the mid and late-game AP items as possible.
The earlier you start investing in
Crossfade, the easier it will be for you to gain a cash advantage against the enemy Supports.
Once you have
Mark of the Kitsune , however, your damage output is very important to your team thanks to the high AP burst damage.
One thing that will not be very useful in this particular AP build is Ability lifesteal. This is because your only source of Ability damage is
Soundwave, and the burst damage of
Mark of the Kitsune, which isn't frequent enough to be worth investing into Ability lifesteal.
