Star Wars Zero Company: Classes Overview

Updated on Jun 24, 2026
Jun 24, 2026

Introduction

Star Wars Zero Company is an upcoming turn-based shooter from a studio built from former developers of the XCOM franchise. It carries similar mechanics: build your army, take on enemies, and defeat bosses. Star Wars Zero Company is one of the newest games to take on the Star Wars IP, and it is expected to release on August 27, 2026.

In SW, there are 12 classes to choose from. Each class provides different skills and specialities to help you beat the baddies. Building the perfect team composition requires some skill, levelling, and a lot of experimentation, and in this post, we will break down the 12 current classes.

Overview

There are 12 classes covering a range of different roles. There are 8 standard classes available to most recruits, and 4 exotic classes restricted to specific storylines and character lines.

Each operator is built from 4 key components:

  • Talent specialisation - 1 or 2 key abilities unique to the character.
  • Weapon specialisation - 1 of 4 weapon types (Longarm, Repeater, Rifle or Pistol).
  • Primary specialisation - the main class.
  • Secondary specialisation - which is unlocked later on in the campaign.
