Granblue Fantasy: Relink - How to Unlock All 6 New Characters

The Endless Ragnarok expansion for Granblue Fantasy: Relink introduces six additional playable characters. Most can be added to your roster by exchanging Crewmate Cards at Siero’s Knickknack Shack. A few characters are unlocked automatically as you progress through the story, requiring no Crewmate Cards at all.

This guide breaks down how to get all six of them, and where to farm the Crewmate Cards you'll need along your journey.

• Beatrix - Specializes in close quarters sword fighting, using her unique Delta Clock mechanic to fluidly switch between offensive, defensive, and support roles during combat.
• Eustace - A nimble ranged specialist, Eustace leverages their lightning charged shots and agile movement, standing out as the third gunner alongside Eugen and Rackam within the game.
• Fraux - Utilizes martial arts with a dynamic stance system, and can call forth a Devil entity to amplify her damage output. A valuable asset to your party.
• Fediel - As a member of the Six Dragons, Fediel excels at warping around the battlefield, delivering a mix of short and long ranged dark elemental attacks on foes.
• Gallanza - Wields a massive spear, serving as a durable and hard hitting presence on the front lines for your party.
• Maglielle - Blends in sword mastery with spellcasting, unleashing a barrage of magical attacks and providing healing support to the rest of her party.

As long as you own the Endless Ragnarok DLC, these new characters will become available to you in game. Here’s how you can add each one of them to your roster:

Beatrix

Visit Siero’s shop and access the Crewmate Card menu. Use one of your Crewmate Cards to recruit Beatrix.

Eustace

Eustace is obtained the same way as Beatrix: By redeeming a Crewmate Card in the Crewmate Card menu at Siero’s.

Gallanza

You’ll unlock Gallanza automatically just by progressing through the game. Completing Hard difficulty quests in Chapter 0 will prompt a cutscene, awarding you with both Gallanza and Maglielle’s Special Crewmate Cards.

If you’ve already finished Chapter 0, don’t worry about it. By simply triggering any quest, or returning to Folca, the game will play the missed cutscene.

Maglielle

Maglielle unlocks simultaneously with Gallanza, once you have cleared Chapter 0’s Hard difficulty quests.

Fraux

For Fraux, you have two options: play through the Endless Ragnarok story mode until you have reached the halfway point to unlock him for free, or purchase him early from Siero’s for two Crewmate Cards.

Fediel

Fediel can be unlocked by completing the story, though it's important to note that she becomes available only near the very end. Alternatively, you can obtain her early at Siero’s by spending two Crewmate Cards.

If you’re content to unlock Fraux and Fediel naturally through the story, you’ll only need two Crewmate Cards: one for Beatrix, and one for Eustace. Gallanza and Maglielle however are awarded automatically after their introductory cutscene, so no cards are needed for them.

If you want to recruit all characters as soon as possible, you’ll require six Crewmate Cards in total: one each for Beatrix and Eustace, plus two for Fraux and Fediel if you choose to unlock them early.

Endless Ragnarok introduces several new Crewmate Cards, most of which are earned through the Conflux and some associated side quests. Completing all of the Conflux quests will net you five cards, with a couple of additional ones available elsewhere. Here’s where to find them:

• Back Alley Mystery: This side quest, which completes Conflux Cycle 1, rewards you with a Crewmate Card.
• Cycle 2 Side Quests:
• • Chasing Rumors: The Silver Grail (look out for silver slimes appearing in Strife's Way combat rooms) and More Strangeness Afoot (clear Cycle 2). Completing both earns you two cards.
• Cycle 3 Side Quests:
• • After finishing Cycle 2, Tredame Sanctum and new quests will become available.
  • Chasing Rumors: Red Tri-Stars will award you a card upon completion.
  • Chasing Rumors: The Golden Grail also grants a card when finished.
• A Trial of Two Eternities: The very first Endless Ragnarok quest gives you another card.
• Conflux Treasure Rooms: Whenever you discover a treasure room during your journey, check inside—you might find a free Crewmate Card.

Additionally, you should also know that any Crewmate Cards you still have from the base game can be used in Endless Ragnarok. If you didn’t spend all your cards on the original roster, they’ll carry over for use here.

• All new characters can be recruited at Siero's Knickknack Shack when you have the DLC. Beatrix and Eustace will each require one Crewmate Card and can be picked up at any time. Gallanza and Maglielle are unlocked together for free after viewing a cutscene tied to completing Chapter 0 on Hard difficulty.

Fraux and Fediel can also be unlocked for free by progressing through the story, or you can get them early by spending two Crewmate Cards apiece. If you follow the story route, you’ll only need two cards in total to complete your roster.

You can also collect more Crewmate Cards by completing Conflux side quests. There are five available, plus possible drops from treasure rooms along the way.
