Gothic 1 Remake: How to Get Into the Sleeper Temple - Chapter 5 (The Path Chosen)

In Chapter 5 of Gothic Remake, you'll be given the quest "The Path Chosen", which involves exploring the Orc Enclave and unlocking access to the Sleeper's Temple within. After completing "The Banner of Banners", you'll enter the Orc Enclave. Not after entering, you'll be challenged to a duel by the Orc Warrior Grazkrak. This enemy has more HP than regular Orc enemies, but has the same three-hit combo pattern. Blocking isn't too effective, so try to dodge roll or run backward until he finishes his combo, and then close in to retaliate. You can also try to stagger him with a downward strike.

After defeating Grazrak, the Orc Enclave will be open for you to explore. Turn left to find Ur'Shak standing in front of a stone gate. Talking to him will reveal your next objective: Getting access to the Sleeper's Temple. There are two Orc Chiefs that dictate who can enter: To-Churnagg, the warlord, and Ur-Nazkrog, the shaman.

Go through the stone gate to enter the main square of the Orc Enclave. First, go up the planks to your right to find To-Churnagg's cave. Talking to him won't advance the quest, sadly. However, you can loot the chests in the area to find an Amulet of Dexterity and several Orc Weapons. There's a corpse in the area with a Map of the Orc Enclave, as well.

You'll see a cave with a giant skull on top: This is Ur-Nazkrog's house. Talk to Krashok in the entrance and select "Don't you think Ur-Nazkrog would want to see me?" and he'll let you pass.

Inside, talk to the shaman and say that you worship Krushak. Then, she'll ask that you "shape life from death". Go outside the cave and talk to Ur'Shak near the Sleeper's Temple entrance, and he will reveal what you need to do: Perform funeral rites on Grazrak, the warrior you killed earlier.

Once you've got your clue from Ur'Shak, head back to the entrance to the Orc Enclave, where you fought Graznak. You'll see another stone gate that leads to a basement. Go through it and down the corridors until you find Umosh, who will stop you from entering Graznak's funeral chamber.

Instead, go further down through the lateral corridors. You can find an Amulet of Strength and several Potions scattered around the area and inside chests, so make sure to pick up all the items in the area.

Finally, exit to the arena below, where Chokta will offer to teach you how to use Orc Weapons. You'll need to defeat a Biter first, and then a Fire Lizard, without wearing any armor. Make sure to equip Strength-boosting items like Rings and Amulets of Strength.

The Biter's lunge attack can be dodged backwards, and you can retaliate with a downward strike to stagger it. As for the Fire Lizard, you can take cover behind the statues to avoid his fire-breathing attack, or dodge around him and strike him down.

Before leaving the area, make sure to pick up Orc Spores from nearby corpses. These items are essential for completing the quest.

Then, go back to the funeral chamber and talk to Umosh, who will let you pass if you have Orc Spores with you. Then, interact with the corpse to finish the quest. You can now go back to the Enclave adn talk to Ur'Shak and Ur-Nazkrog, who will follow you into the Sleeper's Temple
