In order to find this secret, you'll need to take your Jackdaw to the map coordinates (28,292) - This is an unmarked location, but by navigating to it, you'll find a secret chest under the water.
When you arrive, dive under the water and you should see a highlighted chest not far from the surface. We've also highlighted it below for better clarity.
After opening the chest, you'll be rewarded with the follow customization options for Edward:
