Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced - Bull Shark Location Guide

Bull Sharks are used to access various crafting recipes within Black Flag: Resynced. Here’s how to find them in game.

Where To Find Bull Sharks?

There are numerous locations in the game to find these sea animals, but before you’re able to hunt them, you’ll need to have unlocked Harpooning. This feature is unlocked once you reach sequence 3 in the main story. Once unlocked, sail to any of the marked locations below to find a harpooning spot.

Please note that the animals' locations shown below are approximate and are not exact pinpoint spots for these sharks.

If you’re struggling to find the location, you can open your map once nearby for a more precise blip. Additionally, you should also see a 3D marker on the surface of the water to indicate where to begin harpooning.

Tips For Harpooning Bull Sharks

These specific sea animal encounters are fast and always aggressive. When harpooned, they will move fast, jerking around to prevent you from landing follow-up throws with your spears. If they happen to break away from you, expect them to catch you off guard with a fast charge through the water.

The tip for surviving these encounters easily is to try not to overthink. When they jerk around, try not to respond too quickly. Keep your aim steady, and expect them to naturally swim back into your line of fire.

What Do Bull Sharks Drop?

As with all successful hunting or harpooning encounters in Black Flag: Resynced, these animals have their own set of drops. In the case of the bull shark, you will primarily receive at least 1 Bull Shark Skin when taking them down, and occasionally an extra drop consisting of 1 Bone.
