Vex has a shield on her W that can protect her from incoming damage.
Really good wave clear with her Q and E.
Great pick potential with her Ultimate R which can also be used to help her roam to other lanes.
Maximizing damage output can be really difficult on Vex, especially when laning against champions with dashes.
Even with her W, she still struggles against some all-in champions.
While she has good wave clear, she can get out pushed and out poked by champions with superior range and damage.
0 - 15 min
You will want to focus on wave clearing and conserving mana during the early game. Your Q has a vast range and hitbox, so make sure that you target both minions and the enemy simultaneously.
Keep track of your Passive timer as it is the difference between a won fight and a lost one. If the enemy relies on diving you, W them to fear them and reposition quickly.
Unlocking your Ultimate R will allow you to roam around freely after shoving the wave in. See if you can catch the enemies in the side lane and burst them down.
15 - 25 min
Skirmishes should be accessible for you as long as you land your Q on multiple targets. This also means that clumped fights will be the win condition for you.
Show up to neutral, objective fights whenever you get the chance. The goal is to use your AoE-based abilities to catch and kill targets who try to disrupt your Jungler.
Use your Ultimate R wisely and combine your W with your Passive whenever possible. This can easily allow you to dive into the enemy backline.
25+ min
Keep securing picks with your overall burst and Ultimate R in the game. This will help you single-handedly take over fights if you use your abilities and Passive correctly.
Try to set up death brushes when possible. Your W will easily fear enemies when combined with your Passive, and then you can proceed to blow them up.
Stick with your team and take fights in or around chokepoints for maximal effectiveness. This will allow you to get multiple kills in a brief period and eventually win the game.
Once Vex hits level 3 and gets access to each of her abilities, she could look to play aggressively and make a play.
Unlocking Vex’s Ultimate R at level 6 is a valuable power spike for her. Expect her to play more aggressively when her Ultimate R is on cooldown.
Earning enough gold for her first component item offers her extra trading potential in lane. Her damage output will increase and she will be stronger after this.
Once she reaches level 9, she will max her first ability. This is very impactful and will make Vex a lot stronger in lane.
At level 11, Vex will put a second point in her Ultimate R. She will be much more of a threat at this stage of the game.
In the mid-game, teams will start to group. Vex is good in team fights and she will be quite a big threat
At level 14, Vex will finish upgrading her second ability. Again, her damage output and overall threat will increase.
Pretty much every champion spikes at level 16 when they put the 3rd point in their Ultimate R.
Teams will be grouping in the late game. Vex is good in team fights, so she should do pretty well in late game team fights.
