Talon Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

Talon has the highest amount of first bloods in the game. His early kill pressure is insane!

Talon has great roaming potential thanks to his E. This allows him to jump over walls and move around the map quickly.

In the later parts of the game, Talon can pick up extra kills on enemies who are walking around the map alone. As he deals a lot of burst damage, he can kill them quickly before running to safety.

Weaknesses

If Talon falls behind he isn't going to one-shot the enemy. Make sure you get as much gold and XP in the early game to make your late game more impactful.

If your allies do not have any follow up damage or CC, it’s going to be difficult for you to help their lane by roaming.

Once the enemy starts to group, you will find it harder to pick enemies off and further your lead.

Game plan
Early game
0 - 15 min
Talon is Strong

Get to level 3 quickly, and make sure you use your Assassin's PathE to catch enemies off-guard. You should have a significantly easy time dealing with pushed-up enemies.

Early kills should come quite easily to you. Focus the enemy bot and mid-lane as they have the squishiest targets and will let you snowball hard.

Your Ultimate Shadow AssaultR should allow you to make a lot of plays all around the map. You can even use it defensively if things go awry.

Mid game
15 - 25 min
Talon is Strong

Focus on getting picks around the map during this phase of the game, as you will be able to find many squishy targets roaming around.

Your Assassin's PathE should allow you to win fights way more efficiently as it makes you highly slippery and lets you catch enemies off-guard.

Try to kill the enemy Jungler before taking a neutral objective. This will help you secure the objective without any hindrance, and you will have an easier time winning the game.

Late game
25+ min
Talon is Weak

In the late game, look for picks on immobile or mispositioned enemies. Taking someone down in the late game can give you enough time to force a fight, siege an objective or take the Baron or Elder Dragon.

If the enemy is grouping, look to group with your team too. In team fights, focus on the squishiest and easiest to kill high-priority targets in the backline.

Flank in team fights to make getting on the enemy backline quickly. Make sure you're near your team at all times so you can get in the fight fast.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

His early game ganks are pretty solid as he can quickly Assassin's PathE over walls and catch enemies off-guard. His damage is nothing to be scoffed at either.

Level 6 is a massive spike. It increases his overall burst damage in the game, and he can easily bamboozle enemies by hiding himself. He can also use it defensively to avoid unfavorable situations.

The first item component should help him a lot with duels and his clears. His damage output will be really high during this phase of the game, and he can catch enemies off-guard easily.

Mid game15 - 25 min

The second point in his Ultimate Shadow AssaultR should allow him to catch enemies off-guard way frequently. His burst damage combo will become more dangerous as well.

He is really great during the mid-game as he can get many picks now. He should be able to ruin the lives of squishy enemy carries when possible.

His damage is excellent during this phase of the game due to his core items being completed and him being really nimble. The fact that the enemy will be rotating a lot will allow him to secure picks quickly.

Late game25+ min

A maxed-out Ultimate Shadow AssaultR should help Talon a lot during this phase of the game. It will help him a lot when escaping nasty situations or trying to kill off a squishy carry.

He will start falling off during this game phase as the enemy will be building defensive items now. He should keep track of the items' cooldowns so that he can strike at the proper time.

Most of his abilities will be maxed out during this phase of the game. This means a lot of damage from his end and him being extremely slippery during fights. CC will be his worst enemy during this phase of the game.
