Sejuani is very tanky, so she can soak up a lot of damage for her team.
She has great pick potential with her Ultimate
R. Playing around this cooldown and making plays will help your team to victory!
Thanks to her Ultimate
R, Sejuani has great pick potential and can consistently pick up kills whenever her Ultimate
R is up.
While Sejuani can deal damage, it isn’t enough to carry games. You need to rely on your team to do most of the damage.
When you fall behind on Sejuani, it can be quite hard for you to get back into the game as you will not be able to afford your items.
As Sejuani is a hard-engage champion, she struggles versus teams with disengage, dashes, dodge tools or hard CC.
0 - 15 min
Focus on farming in the very early game. Limit fighting at levels 1-3 and just try and pick up as much CS and XP as possible.
Keep the minion wave closer to your side of the map, especially in tougher matchups so you get enough gold and XP.
Try and play around your Ultimate
R as much as possible. Look to roam around the map and make plays if you cannot kill the enemy Top Laner.
15 - 25 min
During the mid-game, when no team fights are occurring, make sure you’re picking up CS and XP so you do not fall behind.
Sejuani is a team fighting champion, so when you’re not picking up farm in a side lane, you need to be grouping with your team and trying to make plays.
Look for picks with your Ultimate
R. Play around its cooldown and try to force picks when the enemy walks too far forward.
25+ min
Stick with your team at all times in the late game. Do not split up as the enemy will force a 5v4 fight.
In team fights in the late game, make sure you’re peeling and protecting your allies. Make sure you go in, then peel back.
Continue to look for picks with your Ultimate
R. Just throw it out on any squishier/ easier to kill target and then go in. Try to not let the enemy poke and bully you, or you’ll never be able to engage.
You need to play it safe up until levels 3 or 4. Then you can start being a bit more aggressive as you’ll be able to trade back with the enemy.
When you are level 6, make sure you look to make plays in the lane with your Jungler. If your Jungler cannot gank you, then maybe look to roam mid and help your Mid laner instead.
Once you’ve got your first item, you’ll be much tankier and shouldn’t be afraid to take fights with your lane opponent.
At level 9, Sejuani will max her first ability. This is a powerful spike for her as it helps with fighting and clearing waves. It also increases your trading power.
During the mid game, Sejuani will usually be grouping with her team quite often. This is a good spike for her as she is a team fighting champion.
Once you hit level 11, you’ll put an additional point in your Ultimate
R. The extra cooldown and stats will help you when fighting.
In the late game, Sejuani will be really tanky as she will be near full build. This is an important spike for her as she will be able to soak up a lot of damage for her team.
When Sejuani hits level 16, she will put an additional point in her Ultimate
R. Make sure you’re playing around its cooldown and looking for fights when it’s available.
Your strength in the late game really depends on the current game state. If your team is behind but you’re ahead, you can soak up a lot of damage but it might not be enough to win in the late game.
