Overview

Building the right team is one of the most important parts of staying alive in Star Wars Zero Company. With different Operators offering unique abilities, weapons, and roles, putting together a balanced squad can make the difference between a clean victory and a mission-ending wipe.

In this guide, we’ll break down the best team compositions in Star Wars Zero Company, including which Operators work well together and how to build a team that can handle even the toughest encounters.

To see what Specializations are the strongest, check out our tier list, and for some general combat tips, we've got you covered too.

Star Wars Zero Company Best Specs

Heavy - Scout - Soldier - Soldier

This setup relies on your Heavy's Taunt ability to keep your two Soldiers safe, alongside their melee attack, which Dazes opponents and prevents them from attacking. While your Soldiers run amok, they can use their Ultimates to obliterate reinforcements and obliterate reinforcements and groups of enemies.

The Scout's Combat Recon fuels the Advantage for your Heavy to Taunt each turn and Soldier to Ult.

Droid - Sharpshooter - Assault - Soldier

The Droid is a unique character with no weapon or attacks, instead getting extra Utility slots and providing support, including the cornerstones of this build: granting AP, and debuff opponents.

The AP boost is primarily reserved for the Sharpshooter, who, when equipped with a Sniper, can find themselves AP starved due to its high attack cost. The Sharpshooter is best used with Overwatch, however, and this extra AP should be used to better reposition or gift extra OW shots.

The Assault and Soldier both fill a similar role, getting close to opponents and picking the enemy ranks apart. The support Droid can debuff opponents to increase your team's damage, or provide cover and healing to keep them safe.

Scoundrel - Sharpshooter - Scout - Assault

This comp focuses on the crit synergy between Scoundrel and Sharpshooter, with a Scout to fuel the Precision Shot spam from the Sharpshooter.

Scoundrel can use Identify Weakness to guarantee a critical hit on a target, which Sharpshooter takes advantage of with their Precision Shot which does extra crit damage, alongside stacking crit damage modifiers on the rest of their loadout. Taking the Cold Blooded talent bypasses the need for this step.

Additionally, the Scoundrel can use their ultimate, Easy Mark, to assist an ally on a specific enemy. If the original hit crits, this assist crits too. Combine all these factors together and you have one of the strongest single target combos in the game.

The Assault is here to provide some coverage for AoE or flushing enemies out of cover.

Gunslinger - Heavy - Medic - Sharpshooter

The strength of this build lies in pairing the rapid hits from Gunslinger with the damage boost from the Medic's Combat Stim.

The Heavy keeps the fragile Gunslinger safe by utilising its Taunt to distract enemies. The Sharpshooter provides assist and Overwatch support as well as gifting the Gunslinger extra AP to shoot more and stack its Onslaught passive, increasing damage of subsequent shots.

To really fuel the Gunslinger, you can equip your Sharpshooter with a standard rifle to help stack Advantage.

Medic - Medic - Medic - Medic

The meme team. This ambulance comp surprisingly isn't all about healing - everyone having a Combat Stim means your whole team is permanently juiced up.

Paired with the Anticipation and Grit talents, your team will either be avoiding damage or healing it all up, making you pretty indestructible too.
