Overview

The world of Palpagos is large and full of wild Pals. These Pals vary in level, and can be extremely dangerous to face if you aren't prepared for them.

Have no fear, however, as this article will share the recommended level per region based on the average level of the wild Pals that inhabit it.

WIP - a list of each Alpha Boss Pal in the region!

Palworld 1.0 Level Map

These are the recommended levels your team should be before venturing into each zone. The wild Pals in each area will generally be in the level range shown below, with certain sub-regions housing different Pals of varying levels.

There may be some Pals in these regions, especially Wild Bosses, that fall outside the level ranges below, so keep your wits about you when exploring!

Starting Zones

Level 1-20 Areas

You should begin your journey in the Windswept Hills, home to popular beginner Pals such as Lamball, Cattiva, and Chikipi.

You can then roam out into the Sea Breeze Archipelago, Marsh Island, and Eastern Wild Island, the last of which is a great spot to find your first land mount in Eikthyrdeer. For an early game-safe island base, check out the Sunlit Isle.

In the north you'll also find the Isle of Silence and Isle of Murmurs with some low level Pals such as Rooby and Ribbuny. You'll have to travel through some more dangerous areas to get there, so be careful!

Early-Mid Regions

Level 20-40 Areas

After the starting zones, move north towards the Bamboo Groves and Moonless Shore. Here you'll encounter many new Pals, including the mount Univolt. The shores of Mount Obsidian are safe at this point too.

To the north-east you'll find Verdant Brook, the Frostbound Mountains, and the Dessicated Desert all accessible from around level 30 onwards. The Desert specifically is great for Ground type Pals such as Dazemu and Gorirat Terra.

You can also explore several islands such as the first Wildlife Sanctuary, the Scouring Islet for the Needoll Alpha Boss, and the area around the Isle of Decayed Treasures.

Mid Game Zones

Level 40-60 Areas

Ascending Mount Obsidian is the first stop once you start approaching level 40. You'll find more powerful Pals the further west you travel over the ridge, such as Ragnahawk and high level Turtacle.

In the north you'll be able to challenge the chilly inhabitants of the Astral Mountains, a great spot for Ice type Pals such as Sibelyx and Cryolinx.

Sakurajima will challenge you and your Pals with its surprisingly tough denizens - notably the infamousTocotoco.

Most islands not previously mentioned will fall under this level bracket, including the second and third Wildlife Sanctuaries, the Islet of Circular Ruins, Flamepulse Islet, the Isle of the Glacial Core, and Suncrest Isle.
