Blackarrow One-Shot Build Guide – Mistfall Hunter

Updated on Aug 27, 2026
Aug 27, 2026

Overview

This Blackarrow build combines powerful fully drawn arrows with excellent mobility and several ways to keep enemies at a safe distance. If youdon't get along with the popular DoT focused Blackarrow meta, this build is a fun alternative!

Steel Arrow and Paralysis Arrow provide the build’s main ranged damage, while Barbed Arrow punishes opponents for repeatedly dodging. Sky Piercer can quickly finish weakened targets, with Scattershot and Impact Grenade providing the space needed to prepare another charged attack.

The loadouts focus on Fervor and Valor as standards, with the purple loadout balancing some defense and utlity such as Aegis, Vitality and Elusive, making it less punishing when an opponent manages to close the distance. A cheaper Blue version is also available for players still working towards the full setup.

Thanks to Vermouth from the official Mistfall Hunter Discord for sharing this build!

Gear

There are two versions of this build depending on your available gear:

  • Blue Loadout Code: 5H68aLLjmawuHu9FvRCx8ePWY6ivGtK4JnKyiM5hm76Lg

  • Open Import Loadout and paste the code.

Affixes

Purple Loadout

  • Aegis 5 – Provides 75 additional Defense and 2.5% Physical Resistance. This gives Blackarrow some much needed protection when a melee opponent manages to reach you.

  • Valor 5 – Increases Attack by 7.5% and provides 1.8% Defense Penetration, strengthening every arrow and active skill used by the build.

  • Fervor 5 – Hitting enemies builds up to five stacks of increased Physical and Magic Damage. Reaching at least three stacks also provides 2.5% Defense Penetration. Rapid Arrows can build these stacks extremely quickly.

  • Ranged 5 – Provides 8% additional Physical and Magic Damage when attacking from more than five metres away. It also increases your effective range by 12%, making it one of the build’s most important damage affixes.

  • Seeker 4 – Hitting an enemy increases your Movement Speed by 4.5%, stacking up to two times. This helps you reposition after attacking and maintain the distance required for Ranged.

  • Vitality 4 – Provides 20 additional Maximum Energy and can prevent one instance of Energy Overdraft. The extra Energy is extremely useful when combining charged shots, dodges and active skills.

  • Elusive 4 – Reduces Dodge Energy Cost by 16%, giving you more opportunities to avoid attacks and activate Dodge Power Shot.

Victory Wine:

Aegis +2 Seeker +2 Vitality +2 Elusive +2

Before drinking Victory Wine, the equipment provides Aegis 3, Valor 5, Fervor 5, Ranged 5, Seeker 2, Vitality 2 and Elusive 2. The additional points complete the important defensive, mobility and Energy breakpoints without sacrificing the build’s core damage.

Blue Loadout

Aim for Valor 5, Fervor 5, Ranged 5 and Elusive 5 after using Victory Wine.

Victory Wine:

Valor +1 Fervorr +1 Ranged +1 Elusive +1

Before drinking Victory Wine, the Blue equipment provides Valor 4, Fervor 4, Ranged 4 and Elusive 4. This version is much cheaper, but it loses the additional protection and Energy provided by the Purple loadout.

Skills

Blackarrow can equip three special arrows alongside three active skills. This setup combines heavy fully drawn attacks with control, mobility and close range protection.

Arrows

  • Steel Arrow
  • Paralysis Arrow
  • Barbed Arrow

Steel Arrow is good for the extra damage your shots do with it equipped. It provides reliable damage and its piercing effect is an added bonus.

Paralysis Arrow is ideal versus Sorcerer and Shadowstrix, disabling their abilities for a decent period of time.

Barbed Arrow punishes enemy players whenever they dodge while affected by it. Combined with Laceration, an opponent who exhausts all of their dodges while marked will also become Stunned.

Active Skills

  • Sky Piercer
  • Scattershot
  • Impact Grenade

Sky Piercer deals massive damage even at long range. Due to its long cast time, this is best used after self-peeling with the abilities below or to engage a fight.

Scattershot fires seven arrows across a wide area and knocks enemies backwards. Save it for opponents who close the distance, then use the knockback to return to your preferred range.

Impact Grenade can be attached to an enemy or nearby surface before being detonated. It deals damage, knocks enemies away and applies a Slow through Crippling Pain, making it another reliable way to create a charged shot opening.

Talents

These eight talents improve the build’s fully drawn arrows, Energy management, mobility and close-range control:

  • Full Draw – Increases the Damage Multiplier of fully drawn arrows, directly improving the build’s main source of burst damage.
  • Battle-fed (Blackarrow) - Lowers skill cooldowns
  • Lasting Pain - keeps debuffs from Paralysis Arrow and Barbed Arrow up longer.
  • Dodge Rapid Shot – Replaces your roll with a dodge and allows you to immediately fire a quick arrow afterwards. Good for quick damage and applying a special arrow effect.
  • Pursuit Mark - great for aggressive and defensive play, enhancing both your chase and escape potential.
  • Laceration – Enemies affected by Barbed Arrow become Stunned if they use their maximum number of dodges before its effect expires.
  • Crippling Pain – Enemies damaged by Impact Grenade have reduced Movement Speed, giving you more time to reposition or prepare a fully drawn shot.

Tips & Tricks

  • Apply Barbed Arrow before an opponent begins dodging. If they exhaust their dodges while marked, Laceration will Stun them and create a free damage window.
  • Use Scattershot or Impact Grenade to knock enemies away before preparing a fully drawn shot. Avoid charging while a melee opponent is standing directly on top of you.
  • Save Sky Piercer ideally for when you have max stacks of Fervor .
  • Stay more than five meters away whenever possible. Ranged provides a major damage increase at this distance, while Seeker gives you the Movement Speed needed to maintain it.
  • Aim fully drawn arrows at the enemy’s head whenever you have a clean opening. Weak point hits deal Critical Damage.
